A manly man and a strong female.... Every girl wants the manly man who can fly a plane and protect her when she needs it, but not every damsel in distress needs rescuing! This book had a strong male lead character (Nash) while allowing the female lead (Rowan) to have a strong personality and job. This was a great book for female empowerment in the 21st century while still allowing the female to be vulnerable enough to fall in love. Excellent. The danger, and questions of PTSD, and being part of a brotherhood, all struggles that Rowan Beale is dealing with! And Nash come in her life, and she is not alone anymore. What I liked was the suspense and thrill! I also loved the genius planing. Can’t say more without giving spoilers. Must read!

Wonderful Addition To Wishful!. This is a great second book for the Wishing For a Hero series. Rowan can't seem to get past the nightmare of a bust gone bad that resulted in the death of her partner. When the department gives her a mandatory leave at the exact time her uncle needs help while recuperating from heart surgery, she takes off for Wishful to help. Rowan is flown to Wishful by the sexy neighbor of her uncle who is also a reserve officer. It doesn't take long for the sparks to ignite between these two. However, trouble has apparently followed Rowan from Houston, and Nash wants to help her figure out who is trying to cause her to look as if she’s s crazy. Exciting and suspenseful. WOW! I love Kait Nolan books. Watch Over Me is another exciting well written beautiful story. Rowan comes back to Wishful to assist her uncle Robert, after a heart surgery. She left Houston after her partner is shot and she has been placed on desk duty waiting for the police psychologist to approve her returning to active duty. Waiting for approval she is being harassed by someone in the police department. Nash a neighbor and works part time in the Wishful police department flys to Houston to fly her back to Wishful and her uncle.This book is fast moving and suspenseful when the harassment follows her the Wishful. Love the support and belief Nash gives to both Rowan and her Uncle Robert! I thoroughly enjoyed reading the story of Rowan and And hand you will enjoy reading it and love the town of Wishful. Romantic and suspenseful. Another great, small town romance from author Kait Nolan. Rowan is a strong, female cop in a male dominated profession. She has a hard time leaning on others because she doesn't want to seem weak. After an unfortunate incident that claimed the life of her partner, Rowan is in desperate need of some time off. She travels to Wishful to care for her uncle who has just had heart surgery. While caring for him she is reunited with Nash, whom she met during a previous visit. Visiting Wishful is always a delight, taking the journey with Rowan Beale on her personal nightmare, finding support and respect in Nash fulfilled the promise I've come to expect in Kait's stories. Rowen Beale is a police officer in Houston and after her partner is killed she accuses another officer as being a "dirty cop" but of course IA thinks she is suffering from PTSD and she has to a get help before she is released back to work. Little does she know that a lot of people are working against her and facilitating the PTSD, which she may not be suffering from...so when her great uncle suffers a heart attack she decides to take leave and take care of him but trouble follows her back home. Nash Brewer, a retired Navy pilot, part time reserve officer and a caring neighbor for Rowen's uncle meets Rowen again and the attraction he felt for her from before is still there. He is determined to pursue her but she is determined to get her life back and return to Houston as a police officer with no attachments to anyone. That is until trouble comes to town that she thought was only in Houston..will she let Nash help her discover who is behind her troubles and bring them to justice, show her she belongs in town and with him forever or will she just let the bad guys win and lose the one thing she has always wanted..to be a police officer??

Another Great one!. I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review. Kait Nolan is one of my favorite authors and Watch Over Me is another great read that reenforces that opinion. It’s a short read, but the characters are well defined and relatable. I love that this is a continuation of a series, so you get little things that tie it into the rest of the series. At the same time, it is still a stand alone novel. I am betting that once you read Watch Over Me, you will want to read the rest of the series! The suspense is fun and adds another layer to the plot.

Rowan and Nash story is more than a light hearted romance, with a bit of suspense mixed in, which was intriguing . Loved the uncle. My only problem with novella are they’re too short. Loved it!. I absolutely loved this book. Rowan was a strong, independent woman, but a burglary gone wrong left her with her partner dead and dealing with harassment. She takes time away to look after her uncle in Wishful who has had another heart attack and meets Nate. When trouble follows her to Wishful she puts her trust in Nate to help her. This story had believable characters, a strong story and is definitely one I would recommend. I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

Romantic suspense - an absolute winner. Unsurprisingly Kait Nolan does it again, a sweet and endearing, and yet tense and compelling, small town romantic suspense novella. This is the second in the Wishing for a Hero series, and and there was an abundance of heroes to be found. The strong, yet vulnerable Rowan, a big city cop from Houston who has been having difficulties after a police incident and an internal affairs investigation into one of her colleagues. In addition, the quietly supportive and protective Nash, who will always have her back and ensure she doesn’t have a manage alone anymore. And even Rowan’s great uncle and ex-chief of police, Robert, he won’t let a little thing like a heart attack get in his way. This story might be short, but it packed full of excitement, intrigue, and betrayal; as well as loyalty, friendship and family. I highly recommend this book... as well as all Kait Nolan books! Rowan and Nash. This is a sweet small town romance. Sometimes all you need is someone to believe you and that is definitely the case for Rowan. She knows that she is telling the truth but someone in the department is out to discredit her. She thinks that time away from the department looking after her great uncle will ease the situation, but the distance doesn't matter and someone is still out to get her. Nash is the hero who comes to her rescue even though she doesn't really need a lot of help. Wishful is a wonderful place.

Loved it! A real page turner. Watch Over Me is a small town suspense/romance story set in wishful. Rowan a strong female Cop gets more than she bargained for when Nash the charming and charismatic Pilot come Reserve Officer, flies in to Houston to pick her up and take her to see her Great Uncle Robert, who has just suffered a heart attack. I couldn’t put this book down, It’s packed full of suspense and will keep you turning the page for more. Your best work yet Kait Nolan! Looking forward to seeing more suspense mixed wth a bit a wishful.

No matter the characters or the storyline, I find that as soon as I start reading, I can't put the book down before I've reached the back cover. And once again, this story does no disappoint! Rowan is a strong and independent woman that many of us can relate to and the fact that she is attracted to the very handsome Nash, makes her even more relatable. Can,t take my eyes off you. Good read

I love Wishful. I love Wishful, and I love this opportunity that took me back there. This story has all the sweet southern charm I’ve come to expect as well as a darker, more action-packed twist. The one thing Wishful never lacks is connection: the sparks between Rowan and Nash just about singed my fingers while reading this. Rowan’s got a lock on ‘independent tough girl’, especially while her professional life may be falling apart around her. She doesn’t need anybody’s help. No way. No how. Nash is all protective alpha male, but he’s got a nurturing streak a mile wide. I loved watching how carefully he looked out for Rowan without stomping all over her independence. The only complaint I have is that it’s over already. I would have happily read hundreds of words more about Rowan, Nash, and all the rest of Wishful.
