The Tanglewood Tea Shop. A clean and sweet story.

Amazing!. It was a hard start, but by the end I didn’t want to stop reading it!

Good story and writing; ending was abrupt. I liked this book a lot, except it ended abruptly with the main couple declaring their love before going on a date and only after a couple of kisses. With the author’s good writing style, I just wanted a little more of it to round out the ending.

A fun read. This enjoyable book is truly an English light romance. Interesting and likable characters in a small English town. Unlike some books with their hard sex sell, this one tells a sweet story about the people in Tanglewood. An enjoyable way to pass the winter’s day!

Feel good but predictable. Very feel good and easy to read. Quite a predictable ending but doesn’t matter with this kind of book. Very happy and enjoyable - no Jane Austen but a lovely summer read.

One of my favourite books ever!. I absolutely adore this book! All of the stories link perfectly and the range of characters and their different personalities keeps it interesting. I’m so excited to read the rest of the series and I couldn’t recommend it more!

Terrible. It’s so girlish not a lot of action I hate this.

The Tanglewood tea shop, great story,couldn’t put it down. Until I had completed it..

Couldn’t get past chapter 6. There’s something wrong if you can’t even like the heroine. She feels very self pitying and as self absorbed as her mother and sister. The writing feels disjointed and doesn’t flow well. I got bored really quickly and I hate not finishing a book, no matter how terrible, but I feel I have better things to do than waste my time on this.

Unlikeable Protagonist. Falling in love after having met someone 5 times and they weren’t even nice to you for three of those meetings? Seriously do not understand the need to make a protagonist stupid so that they are more relatable or likeable. A nice, dim witted read over a cuppa on a rainy day.

Easy reading. This was a good, old-fashioned, easy read! There’s a few issues with the editing, but forgivable, as it’s a nice story.

Why was this published?. Poorly written, silly story, poorly researched. The characters lacked depth and the story lacked believability.

Tangled tale. Loved this book. Engaging characters, some you love, a few you despise and others that you change your mind about as the story unfolds - all are relatable in one way or another. Looking forward to catching up with these characters again in the other books in the Tanglewood series.
