You will never be the same. Where do I start? This book fills you up and it also will rip out your heart leaving you unable to breathe. The characters are so real and human, you feel you know them. This is not a book like my usual genre of mystery and serial killers, it is a book that will stay with you for hours and maybe the rest of your life. It happens to people every day. I am so glad I read it even if it filled me with unbearable sorrow. If there is a lesson here it is that life is short and you need to fill it up with as much happiness and joy as you can. Also, find one true love if possible. Right now, in this horrible time we are living, it is so hard for so many people. Loved ones and friends are dying and there is much worry and despair. Live your life the best you can and don’t give up hope.

Holy crap!. This book is amazing. Definitely quite the emotional roller coaster. Make sure to have tissues handy for all the tears you’ll shed. Tessa and Kyle are #goals! And Cancer affects so many people, that this book’s challenge and turmoil should resonate somehow. Sensational read and would highly recommend!

Heartbreaking!. Facing death on her own terms. That’s Tessa’s greatest wish. It used to be to marry the love of her life, have a baby and write a book. Then at 26, she is diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and given months to live. Every Last Drop is the story of the slow ending of a life and it is brilliant, tragic, discussion worthy and heartbreaking. As Tessa learns that the weeks leading to her inevitable death will be punctuated by seizures, blindness and paralysis, she begins to research Death with Dignity, a law that allows a dying patient to commit suicide at a time of his or her choosing. There is a lot of information here and it is well organized and thought provoking. But the real story is Tessa’s journey and the reactions of her father, husband Kyle and sister Elly. This is a beautiful, beautiful book. And it is dedicated to Brittany Maynard, the young California woman who inspired this story.
