Amethyst Helps Solve a Mystery. Amethyst, from the Gemstone Coven, is a witch and wand maker. She owns her own wand shop. She likes to go by the name of Amy. Detective Ambrose, a mage, works for the Paranormal Police Department. He asks Amy to help on a murder. Amy is very excited. She has always been interested in solving mysteries. Consulting with the police to catch murderers and thieves sounds like a great adventure to her. A man was murdered and Ambrose needs Amy’s help in identifying the wand used which could lead to the murderer. Amy is a delightful and fun character. She is full of enthusiasm to solve the case. Amy and Ambrose are constantly bickering. They get on each other’s nerves but they are slowly starting to respect each other. There is a hint that maybe something more could happen between them in the future. The mystery of the murder leads them on a wild adventure. This was an amusing and entertaining book. The story flowed and kept you turning the pages. I cannot wait for the second book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
