There’s a movie too. The movie I’d give 4 stars. They tried and it was pretty good.

Love the book, but ads while I’m reading???. I recommend not downloading this version. Every other page is an ad. When I’m reading I don’t like distractions but I guess for whoever published this version it’s more about money than it is about the reader having an enjoyable experience reading a classic. Jane Austen would PIIIIIISSED.

Great book, terrible ebook. DO NOT download this ebook. They’ve interspersed these weird advertisements that cut out most of the text. Do read Persuasion, but do not read this version.

Random ads. Persuasion is a great book, but do not read this version!! There are random ads every few pages that distract from reading. It’s very annoying.

Too many ads. This book would have 50 less pages without ads. There’s one interrupting text about every 3 paragraphs. I just want to read the book!

Not her best. Not as good a plot as her other novels.

First book I’ve come across with ads. This was free on iBooks and went to reread before watching the new Netflix movie. This book has an ad every 5 pages or so and it’s very distracting. Full page of “click here for XYZ.” Deleting.

Ad inserts. The ad inserted into every other page are infuriating. What were the publishers thinking????

Awful version. This version has an advertisement between literally every page. Get the other free version - this one is unreadable.

Lovely. Thorough enjoyment of the intelligent gossip, bold professions, simple guarded thoughts eventually shared.

Best Jane Austen so far. I have not read them all, but this is my favourite so far. I love the internal dialogue of Anne and she is so likeable.

Advertising within. I love this story but this particular copy has advertisements throughout and it was very distracting. I couldn’t finish this copy.

This edition. Too many advertisements- every few pages. Very annoying.

Ads. Directs you to a website every few pages which is quite disruptive. I would recommend going with a different version of the book if you’re looking for a more immersive read.
