Maksim. Piper Rayne have quickly become go to authors for me. This was the first series I have read by them, but while waiting for the next book I have read several others. Maksim is carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. He feels responsible for watching out for his best friends, even when it gets him in trouble. Paisley is the girl next door who has worked through all her issues…that is until she meets Maksim. Agghh! The way he loves her! Every woman should be so lucky to find someone to love her like that.

Addicting!. I couldn’t stop reading. Great storytelling! Captivating! Their flirtations and steamy scenes had me fanning my face🙌. I definitely recommend this book and this series. I can’t wait for book #3. Happy reading!

Great Hero, unprofessional Heroine. 3.5 stars I love Piper Rayne as an author and I loved the first book in this series, but this book had one major issues that drove me nuts (and not in a good way). I loved Maksim, he was a great character with enough backstory to make him flawed but likable. Paisley is where I had issues with the story. Paisley is hired as a therapist for the team, and for Maksim. When she is finding herself attractive to him, instead of doing the right thing and removing herself as his therapist she continues as his therapist while dating him. I have seen this trope before, and having a female therapist be so unprofessional and irrational, didn’t sit well with me. If she had been any other profession, I would have rated this a five star romance. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from the author and publisher for my honest review.

So Good!. Great original story. Parts that are laugh out loud funny and parts that are moving and substantial.

Looking for some hot Russian love???. Maksim Petrov is the star of this story along with his leading lady Paisley Pearce. Maksim is the enforcer for the Florida Fury and he lives that life, on and off the ice. If any of his teammates need help, he’s the one they turn to. But, Maksim’s also got a hot temper and it’s going to get him in trouble, unless he sees the team therapist. He’s been putting it off, but his time out is OVER!! Paisley is the therapist he is sent to talk his problems out with, she’s vibrant, and clever and more than able to handle Maksim and his worries. But can she handle the feelings he instigates inside her? This was a super hot and swoony story with lots of action on and off the ice. As always, Piper & Rayne brought their Agame and gave us another winner for the team.

Great characters and storyline. Very enjoyable reading Maksim and Paisleys story. Ver insightful and a great addition to the Fury series.

Excellent!!. Once again Piper Rayne have wowed me with their writing. I absolutely loved Maksim and Paisley’s story. I was excited to read this one a as after getting a glimpse of them in book 1 and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Their chemistry is so wonderful and Maksim was divine. I am counting down the days until we get the next book in this series.

Entertaining. This is the second book in the latest series from Piper Rayne. The Trouble With #9 was a great addition to the series and is Maksim Petrov and the woman who tames him, Paisley. From the first chapter I was drawn into the story that the authors wove. Maksim and Paisley met at the team’s New Year's Eve party and from their first meeting they have a connection. Paisley is the team’s therapist and she has been tasked with helping Maksim with his anger issues. Maksim is more interested in dating her than therapy and as she refuses to date a patient, he brushes his issues under the carpet. When they begin secretly dating, things are about to become complicated. What happens when his issues finally surface? Not only that, but he is juggling his interfering parents who are trying to push him into an arranged marriage. This was an emotional roller coaster of a read and there were moments of sadness as well as happiness. What will happen when everything is revealed? Will it make or break the relationship that Maksim and Paisley have developed? In my opinion Piper Rayne have another winner on their hands.

Enjoyed every moment!. The Trouble with #9 is Maksim Petrov’s story and we are sent on a roller coaster of a ride of happiness, sadness, laughs, steam and more! This is the 2nd book in the Hockey Hotties series and I have to say I absolutely loved this book. Maksim is the enforcer/defender in the Fury’s and a bit hot headed. When he is forced to go to the team’s psychologist for his behaviour, needless to say he is very reluctant. Paisley is the psychologist and she tries her utmost to help Maksim, however the undeniable chemistry between them causes a dilemma. Maksim is very unexpected in the way he behaves towards Paisley but with a doctor/patient relationship, should they cross a line? I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the storyline and even laughed and shed some tears. This was an amazing addition to the series and Im incredibly excited for Ford’s book next. I highly recommend this book!

Another great read by dynamic duo Piper Rayne. After finishing the Bailey series (brilliant addictive series by the authors) it was an absolute joy to pick up this new series and become equally addicted. Great storylines and characters you can become invested in a must read. Maksim’s story is a page turn great number two in a book series and happy to have all the following books on pre-order
