The Blackwater Journal: Sixteen-year-old Alanda Streets is trapped in a room from which there is no escape. There are padlocks on the door, the windows have been boarded up, and Alanda's only contact with humanity is her father, the man who has imprisoned her and told her that she must die because of the terrible secret she discovered in his past. Is there any way out of her terrifying predicament? Or is her life about to come to an end?

The Book of Dreams: Detective Shane Manning has a troubling history when it comes to his dreams because many of them are nightmares that often seem to find their way into reality. This was especially true when he was younger--the dream he had back then was something that would haunt him for years. And now, fifteen years later, he's investigating the murder of a college student, but he still can't seem to get away from his dreams, which are leading him down a deadly path.

The Book of Lost Souls: This is a dark romantic comedy that portrays an interesting artistic and psychological battle between alcohol, barbiturates, and cocaine—with a little bit of prostitution thrown in to spice things up. Will, Jenna, who has recently become discreetly enamored of Rainbows—barbiturates—finally marry the man of her dreams? Or will Damon, who is addicted to cocaine and prostitutes, manage to hide his unsavory habits from Jenna as he makes a desperate attempt to marry a woman who is the daughter of a millionaire? Or will Jenna's father, the drunken old buzzard, be able to successfully intervene before his daughter is ensnared by all the vile habits of Damon? In the end, this novel descends into a charming farce where bad intentions are transformed into something that could almost pass for nobility.

Annabel Poe: A meek, neurotic fifty-two year old woman named Annabel Peabody is arrested and charged with the murder of a millionaire's wife. Quite unexpectedly, under the extreme pressure of her circumstances, Annabel begins to revert to the personality she had before she was married. Her maiden name was Annabel Poe, and when she insists upon acting as her own attorney, the courtroom is thrown into chaos.

The Future Memoirs of a Zone Nine Zombie: Even though I know it isn't fashionable in a novel to talk about the basis of our existence, especially when the ideas presented have nothing to do with religion or science, it would be impossible to write this book without entering into realms that you may not be familiar with. Granted, there are a lot of quirky dystopian disguises in the beginning of this novel that tone down and sometimes obscure the basic underlying idea that is inherent in the plot, but after the scene has been set, you will be shown a path into a different world that is based on the reinterpretation of everything that your senses perceive: You are not at the mercy of events, and up until the last second of your life, you have the power to create every aspect and experience of your reality.
