Wow. Holy wow that’s some drama.

This book does not disappoint!. Tijan did it again! This is the second book in the trilogy that follows Bailey, an IT genius who in the previous book was kidnapped, drugged, found out who her father really was and fell in love with Kash. Bailey is now starting grad school. Kash is at her side and her new family is there to support her. A threat looms from Kash's past and the results are catastrophic. We get to see a softer side of her father and we walk through Bailey's PTSD along with her. The ending left me shocked and speechless! This book was well written. The storyline was easy to follow. I can't believe the twists and turns that this book took and I am anxiously waiting for the last in the series! #TheDamaged #Tijan #TheInsiders #SMPRomance #StMartinsPress

Give me more!. So much delicious drama! The fact that Kash and Bailey are so solid, it allows for me as a reader to really enjoy all the drama. I love seeing a couple work together against drama instead of it being between the couple. Kash is keeping Bailey out of some of the more dangerous aspects because he's super protective. Another thing that a I love to see. I'm a fan of both main characters but I gotta say Kash is the main draw for me in this series. He's the kind of hero that can be very dangerous to others except the heroine. He's super protective and puts her first. With that huge cliffhanger, I can not wait for the next book!

Amazing. This book was so good, yet heartbreaking at the end.

Ehh!. I read the Insiders so I was veryyyyy much in the mood for more. However, there was a big shift in the characters from book 1 to book 2. Kash was rude, disrespectful (to Bailey’s parents and brother), Bailey was judgey, bratty, clingy (to Kashton) and a little annoying. The chapters were repetitive sex, school, event at school, rinse and repeat. The last few chapters were better than the entire rest of the first 80% of the book, so I am still going to buy the next one. I do feel like it’s somewhat necessary to read all of the trilogy, and I’ve read the sample of book 3. And already, book 2 feels to be the weakest link. With that, I LOVED book 1. And I’m interested to see how book 2 picks up the pieces.

This book is everything!. This book was everything I hoped for and more! The Damaged is SO good! I devoured the book and I was left on the edge of my seat at the end and eagerly wanting more. In this novel, I felt a lot more connected to both Kash and Bailey. I adored Bailey. She is a technological genius and I love how she is a strong heroine pursuing a career in a STEM field. Her quirky personality and huge heart endeared herself to me. She is perfectly flawed and I would love to have this girl as a friend. Kash’s character was further developed and as his personality shined through the pages, I found myself enamored with him. In the previous book, I did not truly feel the draw between Bailey and Kash. In this novel, as their relationship evolves, their magnetism was palpable and the connection tangible. The secondary characters all play huge roles in this book and I reveled in all of their contributions to the story. I found many of them intriguing and really enjoyed the dynamic between them. Friendships are forged and there are moments of angst along with elements of suspense. The story flows well; it moves at a good pace; and I couldn’t put the book down! The Damaged is book 2 in The Insiders Trilogy so that means there are plot twists and a cliffhanger. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I cannot wait to see what happens next!

Enter A World You Won’t Want to Leave!. Tijan has done it again! She draws you into a world that you do not want to leave! This is book 2 in the series and picks up right where we left off in book 1. Tijan weaves the threads together as Bailey starts school and gets closer to Kash and her father and her new siblings. I have a new love for Matt, aka one half of Batt. Her brother seems to be stepping up for Bailey. I feel so much for Kash who seems to take on all the responsibility for keeping the people he loves safe. Victoria is still a witch, only on a much deeper level. Enter Hoda and Camille Story--two new villians in our story. The biggest villian of all is Kash's grandfather, Calhoun Bastian. This book is filled with suspense that kept me up all night reading. There are plot twists you will not see coming. I am in desperate need of a valium and the next book please. This cliffhanger is more extreme than the last one, be prepared. We need to see if Bailey has what it takes to keep her feet in the world of Peter Francis as his daughter. Can Kash and Bailey survive Calhoun Bastian's evil, and just who is the mysterious Chase Bastian--is he friend or foe? 5 amazing stars

Addicting, Captivating, Spellbinding!. Addicting! Captivating! Spellbinding! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book. I thought I was ready for it. I was not. I was totally mesmerized unable to stop reading, feeling like I was a bug caught in a spider web, waiting to be devoured, enthralled by all that was happening around me. Captivated with all the suspense and unpredictable twists and turns as Kash tries to control every possible threat. Causing my breathing to accelerate, and my heart to pound erratically at times. Scared to turn the page. But I did, because I needed and wanted more! “You mean more to me than anyone…” I love these two, they are so strong, intense and gut wrenching real. Bailey and Kash are in such a good place, he is finely hers. And her man is always in control, and has so much restraint. But she wants him, raw, and exposed. Bailey wants so much more! These two heat up their nights with their all consuming desire for one another. Needing. Feeling. Living for each other. But the world wants so much more of them. Expects so much from them. Will they be able to handle the pressure? Bailey is one lucky girl, or is she? As she still battles with her scars from being kidnapped.
