Exactly what I needed. Oh man, this was just what I needed. Angsty goodness. I have been waiting for Josie’s story and just her and Maddox 😍 I finished this in less than 24 hours. Sleep was not happening for me until I finished. There is just something magically addicting about KA Linde’s Coastal Chronicles. The push and pull between Maddox and Josie is exactly why I read KA Linde. It’s her signature angst and I love it. Loved seeing everyone from the previous books as well. Now, counting down til the next in the Coastal Chronicles.

Jodie and Maddox. This is the third book in this series but I never read the first part, Hold the Forevers (Lila and Cole), I did read the second book, At First Hate, (Marley and Derek) and this third book stars Maddox and Josie. Maddox is Marley's twin brother and Josie is Marley's best friend. This is an angst filled more than one chance at romance with characters that grew up together and had several chances at dating but who kept getting it wrong. At the start of this book they are more like enemies than lovers and they are forced together while they film a movie. This was a drama filled story and it is told in five parts as we get the whole story of Maddox and Josie's relationship. I really loved the author's story telling style of creating different parts as we get to know the characters. It was an extremely passionate story and I felt all the highs and lows that the characters go through in this story. I loved it so much and I could not put it down. It has passion, love, mistakes, the messiness of love, and lots of drama. I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Loved this. Soooo hard!. Why, oh why do I read hers so fast! This was beyond phenomenal! Maddox and Josie’s story was full of angst, miscommunications and heartbreak. But the heat and what is fated makes it so worth it! I loved this second, third and fourth chance story. With best friend brother vibes! Mix in Hollywood and Savannah, GA and you have the perfect homemade recipe for a fabulous book! I could not recommend this more. Read it. Soooo good.

Must read!. Another fabulous book in the Coastal Chronicles. Josie and Maddox have a messy history years in the making. Despite the numerous failed attempts and the years of hurt and longing, their attraction to each other never waned. There is so much push and pull, so much tension. So much angst. So much sweet and sexy. They are opposites to the extreme, introvert to extrovert. And you know what they say about opposites… Chemistry galore! I love KA Linde and her writing style. This is told in both past and present POVs, and it really gives the reader the whole experience. I love these characters. I love these stories. And I can’t wait for more.

Ticked all my boxes. I haven’t read the previous books in the Coastal Chronicles but that’s going to change as soon as time permits because I loved everything about Second to None and I want more from the town of Savannah.Maddox Nelson and Josephine (Josie) Reynold’s second chance love story can certainly be read and loved as a stand-alone but I’m sure like me you will be left wanting more. Maddox believes their chance at love has been and gone, the high school sweethearts who once again connected in college have finally moved on but now she is back in town… Josie is determined to prove him wrong, she wants to try once more with the man who will always hold a piece of her heart. A couple who seemed to have it all both feel like something is missing so could they find the missing link together. Total opposites with sizzling chemistry had me captivated by their journey so will Josie bring sunshine and light into Maddox’s grumpy darkness….. This book has the perfect mix of love, passion and drama, it has wonderful characters and it’s a story told from the heart.

Entertaining. From the first chapter I was hooked on Maddox Nelson and Josephine(Josie) Reynold’s second change at love story. Their history is complicated and they will need to come to terms with the past if they are to have a chance at happiness. This is the first book I have read in this particular series by K.A. Linde but it can easily be read as a stand alone. Returning home to Savannah Josie is drawn to the man who was once her “everything”. However these two could not be more different, she is sunshine and light to his grumpy. The friendship and connection they have was built over years and despite Maddox being determined that they had their chance and lost it, Josie is determined to prove him wrong. The chemistry that sizzles between them is still there and these opposites certainly belonged together in my opinion. Successful in their careers, something is missing their lives, could they be each others missing piece? Second to None was well written, with some angst, steamy and heart warming with characters who were easy to relate to who I quickly fell for.
