Snow in August. What an extraordinary book! I actually rationed how many pages I read in a sitting because I didn't want the book to end. Wonderful, fully drawn characters, compelling story, and magical writing. Read it, savor it, don't miss it.
Great!. Definitely worth the money, had a fun time learning about the violence in Brooklyn during the 40s and the secret behind the Golem in the Jewish religion
Fantasticly Written. This was on my required summer reading list for English class. I don't know how else I would have happened upon this book, but not that I have, I can say that it's one of the best books I have ever read. Written beautifully and captivating it was.
