Great read. I've got a new favorite author! And can't wait to read the next Kincaid/James novel.
Good read, well paced. This is another great story - a fun read that doesn’t pander. I care about the characters, and invest in them. I enjoy the way Crombie tells a modern story, inside a traditional detective novel, without mashing in thriller/horror genres. I also appreciate the way she wraps things up- no rambling retelling of the whole plot over 5 chapters. She knows when it’s time to end the story so the next one can begin. I really enjoyed this installment of the Kincaid/James series.
