Fantastic!. One of the best books I've read in a long time! It had touching moments, tense moments but above all it was filled with humor and surprise!!! Can't wait to read the rest of the trilogy!

Exploring a New World. A very exciting adventure with four distinct and unforgettable characters. Each having their own mysterious origins in which the author gives just enough to tantalize but leaves you wanting to know more. Their first adventure is full of action and some humor thrown in for kicks. I'm already on my way to the second book. Also, I could totally picture this as an HBO series....😊

Amazing. This book is great, I recommend to any adventure or fantasy lovers . Age group probably 13+

Enjoyable at times. Overall I enjoyed this fantasy but it seemed like every time I would start to get into it, then there would be something really obnoxious and immature said. For example, fart jokes would be made and it would seem crass and unnecessary. Also there are ton of unanswered questions. Was this intentional for more books? The ending did seem extremely rushed. I want to know more about the new race and what about this evil empire? Tathans past? Sir Danths people? None of it was resolved! I would gladly read this series again though cause I did think it was fun for the most part and I do hope the author revisits these characters!

Strange. I did not care for this; it seems targeted toward teen girls maybe? Lots of talking, crying, blushing. And that's just the men...

So Much Fun!. This trilogy is the most fun I have had reading in a long time. The first book starts off a little rough with the character Tathan seeming overly damaged and brooding but stick with it because the story quickly transforms into a non stop action yet somehow light hearted adventure. The characters are wildly entertaining and I constantly disturbed my family by laughing out loud. I loved it.

Good read. I enjoy books with humor and fantasy combined and this book did it well. Am looking forward to reading the rest.

Amazing!! Definitely recommend. This is one of the best fantasy stories I have downloaded so far :D the characters are amazing and the story is equally as good and well written which always helps :D I recommend this to anyone who likes unknown worlds, creatures, characters and a tiny hint of the cutest romance EVER !!!!

A teal page turner!. Some very interesting characters, great injections of humour. Didn't find this book boring at any point, as with some others which tend to have dull periods. Couldn't put this one down. Just about the start the second book in the series.
