Funny!. This book had me laughing out loud on the train! I would love to see it made into a comedy film...definitely a great stress-relieving book!

Wonderful. It is such a wonderful book that I have found myself reading it again, a year later. Such a romantic and funny story.

Question. I just purchased this book because I have enjoyed some of her other books. This was released in 2004 but yet updated in 2021. My question is what was updated? What was changed? I guess there was a movie out or is. But I see this a lot. Now I understand if an update is made within a year but 17 years later? The first thing that comes to mind is politics. Some authors seem like they cannot resist throwing in a personal opinion but making it appear that it is the characters opinion.

Seriously. :))) I downloaded the sample because this was the first time I'm reading a Sophie Kinsella book, and from the beginning I was definitely already hooked. Then I bought the whole book and I got so engrossed that I can't stop reading and flipping through the pages and before I knew it, I was already reading the end. This book is indeed a must read. Fun to read, ending not worth price. Fun to read, ending was just ok. Characters were drawn out and I felt myself sometimes just flipping through the pages to get over them faster. Not worth the price in my opinion but still real fun hence the 3 stars.

Oh my goodness. This is book is griping! It has you cracking up one minute and crying the next. Yes, I will admit I cried while reading this. Emma truly thinks and speaks as a real person would, flawed and all, instead of the usual perfected character in most novels. I could relate with Emma; I felt everything she felt and was along for the emotional ride the whole way through.

Love it!. It was such a great read! At one point I'm laughing the next I'm wanting to cry. It was the perfect blend for a romance as soon as I started it I couldn't put it down. I definitely recommend to anyone who loves a great read!

Shallow but entertaining. I liked the first part, but for my taste it was shallow and lacked depth. I wanted a nice read but with some thought not that shallow. I respect all other reviews, I'm just talking about my taste.

Really enjoyed it. I "bought" the sample as my first iPad book, just to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised and wanted to read more so I bought the whole book. I thought it was very fun with an underlying good lesson about women being themselves. I am so lucky to have a husband who loves me for me and it's an unbelievable feeling. (he's the one who bought me the iPad, even though he knew he'd become an iPad widower :-)

This book was completely infuriatig. I won’t give this book 1 star, because the writing wasn’t terrible so I’ll give the author credit on that. However, everything about the plot and the characters made this book the worst book I’ve ever read, in that it absolutely infuriated me from start to finish. From the beginning, the main character is constantly being bullied and belittled by every other character. Just chapters and chapters of people being completely terrible human beings and then she gets some minor satisfaction and the reader is expected to be happy with that? Reading this book was an absolute pain in the neck and I would never recommend it to anyone who is hoping to have a good day, because this will surely ruin it.

If your on the fence.... Don't read this book! I have read other books from this author and enjoyed them. But not this one!! I want my $ back! The main character Emma is a nit twit. She expected so many great things to be given to her without putting forth the work! Her family is awful to her other than her grandpa. Her boyfriend is like a Step-ford boyfriend... but she doesn't help the matter because she never speaks up or disagrees with him on anything! I kept reading for awhile, hoping it would get better. But it just didn't. Don't read this book. Read "Remember Me" instead.

Promising but not sustainable plot.. The story caught my attention at the very beginning with a powerful attention catcher: meeting a perfect stranger on a plane. Unfortunately, Emma’s internal dialogue is too dense and interests starts fading. At times boring. Spoiler alert: I thought the crisis/reconciliation she had with her family could have described more personal growth on her. Finally, the friend (or I should say psycho enemy) Jemima is worst than the syrup and handled with not too much balance to what she does and how Emma reacts. Too much weight on how psycho she is with a too much simple outcome. Entertaining, though. I like how she writes.
