Good but felt ending rushed. If I could give half stars, I would do 3.5... Could of been longer, ending wrapped up quickly... My favorite by far is still CLAIMED. But it was nice to get into Katie / the infected world rather than the vamp brothers... Looking forward to more! ;)

Becca's Back!. Jordan & Katie starts ten years after HUNTED. It took me so time to process that in the beginning. After all, a lot can happen in ten years. The birth of Talons' son; his first words. Janie's first date. Well, the first date we didn't miss and Garrett- I'll just say he's his father son. Katie has been the leader of a werewolf hunting team these past 10 years. Improving her already excellent fighting skills. And through she has turned the heads of a few other males, she only has eyes for Jordan. We find Jordan in a bad way. After getting struck by an arrow, he come down with Virus27. While being faced with his pending death, he reflects on his life choices. We see how he saved Katie. How deep his friendship with the Kayrs', especially Conn and him coming the leader of the pride. We already knew his loyalties ran deep but we see just how deep. He's way more then a pretty face and a hot body and his love for Katie is the strongest but is it strong enough to save him?

Couldn't put it down!. I'd been waiting for these two to finally hook up! It was written very well.

Consumed. Can't wait for the next book!! Good Read!! Eager to know what will happen between Maggie and Tervent :)

Consumed. Wicked! Thrilling exciting and suspenseful. Jordan and Katie are fabulous characters. I really enjoy this series. Now it’s on to the next volume😍😍😍

A Girl's Gotta Do .... This is Katie and Jordan's story. We have gotten to know them through the first three books, and it is great to finally focus on this powerful, lovable and sexy couple. Once again we have an alpha male meet his match in a strong, independently minded mate and this was intense and great fun to read. Interwoven into their story are further developments in the war, the ongoing struggle and uncertainty with the sinister Virus 27, and (gasp!) our sweet teenaged Janie Belle meeting one of the boys from her mysterious Dreamworld! Consumed was a pressure cooker of action AND romance. There are a lot of paranormal romance authors out there, (Christine Feehan, Katie Reus, J D Tyler, Nicky Charles are some I have read.) Rebecca Zanetti is my favourite for her playful unpretentious humour, her snappy prose, her layered plot lines and her vividly imagined love scenes. I love not only the stories that she writes but also the way that she writes them. Consumed is book 4 of the Dark Protectors series, preceded by Hunted and followed by Provoked.
