Very good, but not quite as good as Jumper or Reflex. The narrative splits between the small story (Mean Girls), the medium story (helping refugees) and the big story (the Evil Organization), and it's all a bit bolted together. I'm hoping there will be a fourth novel, because the big story isn't fully resolved at this point. Still, it's nicely written, entertaining, and the author again does interesting things with the central concept of teleportation. One thing: given that the author has made the effort to explore the practicalities of teleportation through the main characters' own investigations, it seems odd that they wouldn't have worked harder at it -- Millie should be an expert at the in-two-places-at-once trick, and Davy, once Cent has proven it's possible, should be all over the control-momentum trick. Again, it's really nicely done, overall.

Perfect. Great book to the series. Hopefully they can make the next movies just as good.

Impulse. Great read, i expected a bit more but it's alright. ( maybe a couple of hounded more pages ) I definitely recommend this book to Steven Gould's fans, specially of you've read all the jumper related books.

Impulse. Boring, nothing like the Jumper series. This book was very slow and meaningless..

Impulse. Great book, entertaining, difficult to put down etc. There are some dark themes including child porn, briefly described, though he wasn’t grotesque about it, abusive bullying, gang rape of a minor, assorted gang related activity, kidnapping of minors, molestation of minors, physical torturing and beating of minors, just to name a few. This is all rounded off with unnecessary swearing, about on par for this author which just comes off as lazy writing. Finally, his personal politics bleed through, demonizing an actual real-life conservative think tank by name. It’s completely unnecessary, as it adds nothing to the story, like he couldn’t help himself and just threw it in there as an aside. Ugh. With the exceptions listed above, I enjoyed this book, having read it more than once. The teleportation theme is well thought out by the author, which is refreshing.

Remembrance.... When I was younger I used to be an avid reader. Never going anywhere without a good book in tow. A number of years have passed and that desire slowed to nearly a crawl; that is until I started reading Steven Gould's Jumper series. Every time a new one is released I just can't wait to get it and certainly can't put it down until completely read. The story is engaging, the plot is enthralling and the characters... well let's just say that I wish I could really meet Davy and Millie. I haven't felt that way in a long time and it's like a welcome homecoming. Steven Gould... you rock! Please don't stop the Jumper story... your fans are just waiting for more!
