A Great Story. This is a great fairytale. I love the relationships of the characters and the depth of humanity each character is given. I became completely engaged in reading this book and completed it in one sitting.

There should be more stars. This book was heart touching! The twist, the sex, the entire story was well worth the read!! I look forward to reading more from the author! If pure hesitating to read, here's your review to clarify, DO IT.

Good book. This is a good love story. It really doesn't read like a interracial book at all. It's more about the characters & their love. Good job.

Not my favorite!. About 100 pages too long. I almost stopped reading it. The cheesy, in your face statements about the race of Erik and Michelle was too much; "He's a brother" and "Sweet brown sugar". Really unnecessary! I won't read another of this author's books.

The Secret Bride. This book was enjoyable to read in fact I couldn't wait to start my reading time each night. The only thing I never learned if Erik was white or black. I think I'll go back to the beginning to see if I missed something.

So dumb. I lost count of how many times I literally rolled my eyes trying to read this book. If my husband ever said, "Feed me, wife. I'm hungry," right before kissing me I wouldn't be able to stop laughing. Unfortunately, this book is filled with lines that bad and worse. Do what I wish I had done: skip this book.

Great Story-Teller. I actually fell in love with all of the characters. The characters were richly depicted.

Okay. The story was okay. It had an alright story line even though really predictable. I had a real problem with the constant explaining the author did. I didn't care for the use of "proper terms" for the sexual organs either. It was way too drawn out, it really could have been cut down.

I loved it!. Normally I don't write reviews for books, but this book was just amazing beyond words. It had a captivating plot and great characters. I loved Precious, she was absolutely adorable. This is a great book if you want a quick read.

The Doctor's Secret Bride. Ms Ross tells a good story, but for me, it is a little over-the-top dramatic in places. The book needs major proofreading & corrections. The spelling errors, etc, are distracting. I would also change the child's name from Precious to a name more easily said in the possessive.

Didn't like it. The book started ok, but finished bad. Story is too unrealistic and you know what is going to happen because is too predictable. She falls in love too quick. Spoiler Alert: ( he married her so they can have sex and don't feel guilty about it, he is still not completely sure about his feelings). Who the hell tells his wife "Feed me woman. I'm hungry" before sex. He ends the marriage and was mean to her and then expected her to don't leave. I skipped few pages, just wanted to finish.

Great read. Great story from beginning to end!....look forward to reading more stories from this author.

Very good.. It's a very good read. I did notice that the word "stresses" was used when I believe the author meant "tresses".

The Doctor's Secret Bride. Enjoyed the story line very much and a happy ending. The sex scenes were a little too graphic for my taste..my only complaint.

Good. Sex scenes described a little to well. And they fall in love WAY to fast.

A decent read. I enjoyed Michelle's character, strong feisty woman with adversity. I also enjoyed the scenes that included the community center and precious. However, The story line was Typical rich guy meet poor Destitute girl from the other side of the tracks. The plot was decent but the flow derailed several times. Other than that it was a decent read.

Best read ever!!. I love the hold book, it sad all of the hurt these characters had to go through but in the end they found happiness in each other...

Nope. Just didn't work for me. Very predictable, but that's not necessarily a deal breaker for me. I liked the interracial aspect because it's not something you normally find in a story line, but it was a surprise because the female on the cover is white, but then you get into the story and the lead female is black. Guess I'm one of those that thinks the people on the cover should somewhat accurately depict the actual character(s). One of my problems is that the lead female falls in love with the male lead after just a few weeks & agrees to marry him even though he hasn't said he loves her just so they can sleep together guilt-free?? Really?? For some reason the child's name just got on my nerves. Precious as a character name just didn't work for me. It also annoyed me that the two characters had a convo on one page about his late wife seeing a psychic and then some pages later they have the exact same convo but it's written as though the convo is happening for the first time and not just a reiteration of the previous convo. I ended up skipping quite a few pages. Not a keeper, for me at least.

It is a half and half book. The book was okay overall. Most of the book is very sexual and has a lot of sexual things about. Kids 15 and under should not read or tempt to read this book. Very inappropriate for children. To me it's 2 1/2 stars.

Rewrite. I’ve read this book twice in my life. It was my favorite three years ago but now reading it again I realize that there are some major mistakes. The writing needs to be redone severely and the style as well. Even the plot needs to be redone at least slightly. The cover is still just as annoying but that’s besides the point. I hope soon this book get the justice it deserves by the author.

Awesome Realistic Love!. I’m an avid reader and this was one of the first e-books I downloaded! Such a well written tale of love and the realities of life and relationships! Ana is an AWESOME writer! It encouraged me to by the rest of the series and beyond.

Too much & not enough. I personally didn't care for this author's writing style. Major revelations were over-dramatized compared to the detail given in non-critical scenes. A lot of the dialect seemed forced & inappropriate, as if the author was trying to keep the characters hip and real but missed by a mile. The whole story was rather plodding, predictable, and overall boring. It felt stiff and clumsy. I couldn't finish this book.

Not bad.. Great characters and an interesting story. Slightly contrived but in really good ways. A little thrown by the Mercedes turning into a Jaguar and no explanation for when Erik senior suddenly is referred to as phillipe but overall a very nice HEA story. I would love to read the rest of the series.

The fantastic doctor 😄. I loved the book, it was descriptive and compelling and during many moments completely sizzled and satisfied my imagination.

Fantastic !!. Amazing story couldn't put the book down

Disappointing. This book had so much potential to be good but it was ruined by weird conversations and relationship dynamics, unbearable characters and convoluted story lines. Also found it weird that the ethnicity of the characters was not specifically stated. The constant talk about his ex-wife throughout the book was also annoying. Also, the final fight was just awful and Erik was cruel for most of the book, he didn’t apologize properly and Michelle forgave him way too easily. I did like the daughter and some of the side characters but these things ruined my enjoyment of the book.

Gripping storyline!. Kept you reading and I could hardly put it down! Thoroughly enjoyed throughout. ;)

Amazing read!. This book was so intense and I loved every minute reading it, I couldn't put my phone down to stop reading it, It had me hooked just reading the first chapter, It left me wanting more and more at the end, was worth every minute reading it! I would defiantly recommend it!

Ridiculous. I couldn't finish this book. It started off ok but became more and more unrealistic and at times downright stupid. Characters were unbelievable and it was way too long.

Doctor's Secret Bride. Very good book. There great plot and character development. The hot and steamy scenes were plentiful but did not overpower the book.

Good story.... Terrible writing. I like the ideas in this book. The story was interesting and made me want to keep reading however the writing was terrible. The descriptions were awful and the editing was absolutely horrific! I had to interpret the text half the time and the other half I just want to skip to the end of the scene.
