Wow. Wow such a great book! Rhys is so sweet and Haven is a little neurotic lol. This is such a heart warming story. I loved these two characters. They’re so compelling and real. Their insecurities, the blows life has dealt them and the love they feel. A shocking reveal shakes up their new relationship and Haven’s already shaky trust takes a nose dive. Rumors and innuendo keep them on unsteady ground but Rhys is determined to prove to Haven that he’s all in. A second surprise sends Haven running, will Rhys be able to save her in time to prove his love? I was given an ARC of this book and am happily leaving a review.

Make You Mine. A surprise from the past, insecurities, unresolved issues, an unexpected event and an HEA ending that will melt your heart. Haven is a barista at the cafe and owns her own online business called With Love. Rhys is CEO of Fireweed Industries and royalty in their hometown since his family started Fireweed Winery several generations ago. This was well written and kept me entertained throughout the entire book. I absolutely loved the characters and the storyline.

And just like that a wonderful new series begins…. Fireweed Harbor series first up is Rhy and Haven’s story. It’s pretty hot and steamy and filled with some really heavy relationship drama. Their emotional journey has quite a few bumps before they can get to the other side. Once they find trust everything just comes together beautifully. And their beginning couldn’t be sweeter! “I voluntarily received this arc book for an honest review”

A perfectly spicy romance!. 4.5 Stars This is book one in the Fireweed Harbor series and it features Rhys and Haven. They grew up together and he’s her brother’s best friend. After being away from Fireweed Harbor for a while, Haven moved back and had an accidental meet-cute with her brother’s best friend. Their sizzling chemistry took off from there. She had been burned by her ex-boyfriend and that left her with major trust issues. When she’s accidentally served with paternity papers, her trust issues flare to life! This was a fantastic read, with the perfect amount of spice and conflict! The location and characters were awesome. I love that the entire Cannon family are very grounded. They are part of the Fireweed Harbor community and that makes them all feel more real. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Loved it. I really enjoyed Rhys and Havens story. I always love a good brother’s best friend read. I love the secrecy of Haven, running from her past, which eventually catches up to her. But also that she finally got together with Rhys. There’s a few hiccups in the story with issues they dealt with it. It was overall a great read, enjoyable storyline, and one that I would recommend.

Outstanding Fireweed Harbor romance!. Haven has come back to Fireweed Harbor, Alaska because her ex stole all the money she had. Haven is building her online business up again and she loves being back in her home town. Haven ran into Rhys a guy she had a crush on in high school. Rhys is best friends with Deacon Haven’s brother. They are dating now and they live next door to each other. Haven tried to walk into Rhys’ house because they are identical. Rhys is the CEO of Fireweed Industries a billion dollar corporation, a family owned business. Rhys had a reputation when he lived in Seattle and when he was in college as being a player. Haven is debating on moving in with Rhys when her lease comes up, he wants her to move in. He says he has changed since being with Haven. Haven is working at home when there is a knock on the door. She opens it and is served with papers. Not knowing what it is she opens it and finds out Rhys is being sued for child support. Haven’s trust issues flare up and she takes the court papers to his house next door and leaves them with a note saying that they are on a break until he gets this figured out. Haven won’t answer her phone or door to Rhys but he comes in to Spill The Beans Cafe where Haven has a part time job. Rhys is shocked to get the papers, yes he had sex with Cathy the woman suing him but he always used protection. Come to find out that Cathy was also having sex with Jake, Rhys older brother, at the same time frame. Jake died in college. There is a lot of trauma and drama involved with Jake and their grandfather. Jake and Rhys were taken in by their grandparents when their father died. Grandfather was verbally abusive and he was physically abusive. He was also sexually abusive to Jake. Will Rhys find out that the child is not his? What will Haven do when she finds out that she is pregnant with Rhys baby? Will she tell Rhys? Will Haven realize her feelings for Rhys are true? How will Rhys react to Haven being pregnant? Will Rhys tell Haven about his love for her? Will Rhys and Haven be able to come together over the drama of Rhys’ family? Will Rhys and Haven find love and happiness in Fireweed Harbor? Do better Rhys. They spend most of the book taking breaks, total mistrust and dumping each other. I was really frustrated with this one. Haven is served child support papers meant for her boyfriend Rhys. Rhys is a player who was never faithful or serous, just a serious player and yet he expected Haven to implicitly trust that this kid wasn’t his, even though he did hookup with Cathy a couple of weeks in college. Paternity test and all…to top it off. Haven thinks she pregnant and when she tells Rhys, he immediately dumps her for not telling him when he’s in the midst of finding out if he already has another kid. Ick and Rhys expected way too much from Haven with no concession on his part. Do better Rhys. Just too much similar drama.

Loved it!. Make You Mine is a extremely great beginning for the Fireweed Harbor series. Haven lives next door to Ryes Cannon and they start a swoon worthy relationship. Ryes is dealing with the grief of losing his brother and the is dealt another blow by being served for child support which disrupts his relationship with Haven. I love how JH Croix interweaves the Cannon family of Fireweed Harbor throughout the story and the support they give each other and how they deal with the grief. I highly recommend reading this book and looking forward to the next book in the series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
