Emotional second chance story. This one had me reaching for the tissues! Cole and Eden’s long journey back to each other was filled with emotions, from sadness to anger, hope to despair. The pain of the past is mostly just discussed, with a few flash back conversations. It’d be easy to find fault with the way they handled things, but grief and guilt are hard as adults…for teens, it’s worse. But seven years removed from events in their senior year, Eden is still haunted by the past and has pulled away from everything and everyone she loves. Cole has learned to move past that time, mostly for his son and career, but also never truly moved on. Their story is a slow burn, but I appreciated the time and care that Stacey Lynn took to build their now so they’d have a future…and forgive the past. I loved both of them, and Cole’s son Jasper was sweet and funny. Marley was full of wisdom and love, just what Eden needed the most. Already I’m loving this series and can’t wait to read the next book!

Swoon!. Get ready to Swoon harder than you’ve ever swooned before. This is a book that makes you feel from the moment you start reading until the very end, a book you can’t wait to get into and a book that once you’re in, you’re trapped, you’ll never want to get out. Full of forgiveness, grief, life, death, angst, heat, heart, emotions, passion and swoon. I LOVED reading this small town, second chance romance story! It’s been seven, hard years since Eden has been in Marysville Tennessee, seven years, since she had sworn never to return. But when Marley Bickerstaff, an elderly neighbor/ grandma asks her to return home so she can see her one last time, she honors her request and returns to take care of her until she passes. But Marley has another reason to want Eden to return and that is for Cole. Cole Buchanan is the small town hero who is now a NFL Quarterback for the Nashville Steel Football team. He has a five year old son named Jasper that helped him turn his life around after a tragedy that left him and Eden broken. But Jasper’s mother Selma has her own agenda as well and Eden isn’t in it. But Cole is the boy that Eden loved and the boy who was never hers to love, never hers to have, but they hadn’t cared until that fateful night. Is that magnetic force there still between them? Will love and forgiveness guide them back to each other? You will definitely want to read this to get all the yummy details. Filled with page after page of heart pumping drama and an emotional journey that left this reader mesmerized by the the pure beauty of this masterpiece. Stacey Lynn has just given me the best feeling in the world. You know the one… that little zip of excitement when you find a new author, and they’ve got the magical “thing” that makes you want to devour their back list… It’s epic right? Believe me you will not want to put this woman’s stuff down. Blending smart, sexy romance with heart racing, fist pumping, emotionally heartwarming and heartbreaking, wide grin on your face great read. I can’t wait to read more in this series!! I voluntarily requested an early copy and this is my honest review.

Emotional start to new series. More angsty than I’m used to for her sports romances, Stacey Lynn wrote an emotional and beautiful second chance romance. There was a lot to unpack and I have to admit that I was concerned because Cole was with someone when he and Eden first met and I hate to read about cheating. While they weren’t blameless, this situation didn’t come to fruition so I was good with the story overall. The sports aspect was more background than an integral part of the story and the antagonist was an ex of Cole’s who I absolutely hates, so kudos to the author for making a great character that readers can unite against. And Cole as a dad was phenomenal. I also loved the supporting cast. So a wonderful and emotional start to a new series!

Entertaining. Having read and enjoyed a number of books by Stacey Lynn I was excited when I heard that she had a new series releasing. This was an extremely emotional second chance at love story for Eden and Cole. Eden has returned home to help her sick friend Marley. Her history with Cole was tragic and there was so much raw emotion, grief and regret that was palpable whilst reading. Initially Cole is unhappy that Eden has returned home but his feelings are mixed; he also wants her to stay. I loved his relationship with his son Jasper, so heart-warming. There was a lot of angst in this story but it is also a story of hope and one that ticked most of the boxes for me. Can they come to terms with the past and move forward together, creating a family? Loved everything about this book. I was excited when I heard we were getting a new series from Stacey Lynn and Eden and Cole’s emotion second chance at love in Sneak Attack was everything I expected and so much more. If their journey is anything to go by Ms Lynn with certainly have a hit series on her hands. Eden is back home to look after her very sick friend Marley and she is spending her time avoiding her old friends and her ex Cole because she left under a cloud and she has no idea how her return will be received. When Cole hears she is back he is not happy but when he sits down and thinks about it he realises she is the only woman he wants in his life but he also has a son to consider so will he be prepared take a second chance on love……. This was a very emotional read and Eden and Cole’s journey touched me on so many levels but what took this book to another level was the relationship Cole had with his adorable son Jasper. I was captivated by this story, I loved the characters, the banter and the sizzling chemistry and now I’m excited for what’s next from the Nashville Steel.
