Magic!. As always, the team of Ilona Andrews has provided a superbly written book transporting you to a magical times. The storyline gets more intense as you progress, so be prepared to spend several hours in nonstop reading.

Great New Entry into the “Kate Daniels” universe.. Ilona Andrews never disappoints! Great story to bring Kate and Curran out of “retirement.” Can’t wait to see what comes next.

Ilona Andrews is the best one out for those warm fuzzies.. If your considering this book you probably don’t need any encouragement. Fantastic series, fantastic writer team. While the newer series have more depth this one is still my favorite for pure weirdness of it and the loveable characters

Yes!. I am so happy that Kate & Curran are back! You don’t realize how much you miss characters until they are gone. Thank you! I hope you plan on continuing this series.

It’s like going home after a long trip. I missed Kate, everyone and then I would reread the series, but I knew where it ended, so I knew we were in safe hands. But I would still want to know that they are safe and happy in their happily ever after. This was it, a glimpse in their happy life.

New Life. Since Kate and Currie with son moved from to Atlanta their took a change for a while but the action didn’t stop. People come looking for help to save a town/village from sacrificing their life style and human life. With Late and her husband do it, help save the people? Well if you read the book you will learn about oaths, families and things which died out a long time ago. Gives new meaning to the ice age and magic. An excellent book which gets more than five stars and I look forward to another story of Kate and family!

Things to do here. Oh wow the things this book leads to are very interesting.

Magic Claims. Another great book! Grabs you from the first and doesn’t let go until the end (and then you’re turning the page to find out what happens next). Interesting theories makes you think about what’s going on. Oh, I’m so glad they found some magic clams.

Perfect. Damn….I am hoping this is a reintroduction to more Kate books. This will DEFINITELY be an awesome new storyline with her and her family.

Kate being Kate and taking on bad guys!. Kate is coming to the realization that no matter where they go, their friends and enemies will find them. She and Curran discuss moving their home to a more fortifiable location when Solina (one of the people Kate rescued in the previous book) and her grand uncle, Ned, visit. They have family trapped in a small town who can’t leave because of an evil that lives in the woods since the last flare (5 years). Ned entices Curran to help by offering him land. They entice Kate to help by showing her the ten people who will be sacrificed. Magic Claims continues the story of Kate, Curran, and Conlan living in Wilmington and away from the Pack. Although it’s a new tale and time in their lives, the story has a familiar feel. Kate and Curran must protect the innocent. While the names of the primary players have changed, their roles have not. A group of local Pack shifters assist Kate and Curran on their quest, and the Alpha of Clan Cat of the Pack, Karter, shows up to update Curran on the slow collapse of the Pack under Jim’s leadership. I don’t know how I feel about the whole Pack storyline. I like the idea of Kate and Curran moving on, and this book sets the stage for continued involvement with the Pack. I feel like the series is sliding backwards rather than progressing forward, and the scene with Karter was kind of confusing and honestly killed the flow of the story. With that said, I am happy with how things were resolved within the context of Magic Claims. We’ll see what happens next… The evil in the woods is a formidable foe, bringing a new, more powerful breed of shifters into the mix. I absolutely LOVE their origin and found the battle with this enemy exciting and engaging. Similar to previous books in the Kate Daniels world, the story provides an original, creative opponent based in human mythology. The authors continue to amaze me with their imagination. I enjoyed watching Kate figure out what is going on and love how Curran backs her up. Their relationship continues to grow stronger and stronger. We see more of Kate’s evolving relationship with her father, Roland, which I enjoy. I love that Kate is embracing her familial powers while tampering it with her own moral compass. I was a bit confused at times when Kate visited with Roland, but ultimately, it didn’t matter because the outcome was clear to me. Kate also meets with one of Roland’s former spymasters, Kizzura and his son, Jushur, who was in the previous book. Their arrival clues Kate into Julie’s transformation, therefore tying this series with Julie’s series. I am excited to see how their involvement impacts Kate’s ultimate journey. Overall, I enjoyed the Magic Claims a lot, and I LOVED the “inside joke” the authors gave fans in the epilogue. The story has a transitional feel as Kate and Curran discover what they are and who they want to be. I was worried the overall storyline was going backwards, but Kate and Curran are determined it will be new, different, better. Knowing how much I love Ilona Andrews, it will be new, different, better. My Rating: B+ Review copy provided by publisher/NetGalley

IN LOVE AGAIN. I discovered Kate Daniel’s in high school and have been completely enraptured ever since. My heart is so full that they continued their story 😭 honestly some of my favorite story telling and characters in a book!!! Highly recommend!

Unputdownable. I don’t know how the team at Ilona Andrew’s do it, but they have done it again. This series will leave you with an addiction to the world of Kate Daniels. Yet another book I couldn’t put down, and hungry for more of the story- I read it twice in the day I downloaded it (day of this review). TBH I’ll probably read it again tonight. Thank goodness it wasn’t a novella, I would have cried. Thank you, looking forward to the next one!

As ever great. I’m happy the family thrives on the action thrills lol the comedy touches. The pov is different but it’s ok with more reading became accustomed to it and wanted more towards the end. Possibilities endless!

A must read for any Kate Daniels fan.. I devoured this book. I loved having Kate and Curran’s points of view. Another fabulous story full of all the Ilona Andrews’ goodness, hoping there is more to come!
