Absolutely Amazing Read. This is book 0 : 5 in The Heartwood Lake Secret Billionaire’s Series and it is Callahan and Lake’s story and wow what a great start to a new series. Callahan and Lake are best friends but what Lake doesn’t know is that he has been in love for her for a long time but he can’t lose her or there friendship so he makes sure that he can keep her safe and protected even though he knows that she can take care of herself as she is so strong. When they are in danger they both manage to stay alive and end up sleeping together but friends is all they could ever be as Lake has secrets that she can’t reveal so she them ends up disappearing before Callahan can find out that she has gone. Omg this might be a short read but it certainly packs a punch and is completely addictive and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Great start to the new series. Starts With You is everything you want and expect in a prequel to a new series. This short read gave you just enough to leave you wanting more, just enough to have you falling in love with the small town of Heartwood Lake but more importantly it has you falling in love with the characters. I was so excited when I heard Claudia Burgoa was releasing a new series set in another small town and all I need to say is I wasn’t disappointed in fact I fell hard and fast for FBI agent and billionaire Callahan Thorndale. What I didn’t expect was to be intrigued and wanting more from Sophia Hawkins Zimmerman a woman who is keeping secrets….. I was captivated and intrigued in this quick read and it certainly kept me on the edge of my seat throughout and now I’m excited for what’s to come from Heartwood Lake.

Delightful!. This was a delightful start to an exciting new series by Claudia Burgoa! I enjoyed reading this well written novella that gave us a glimpse of a new family mixed with some old favourites. I look forward to reading more from this new series.

Off to a good start. I was so excited when I heard that Claudia Burgoa had a new series releasing. This is the prequel and has only wet my appetite for what is to come in the Heartwood Lake Secret Billionaires series. I love stories set in small towns such as Heartwood Lake. I really liked FBI agent and billionaire Callahan Thorndale, he ticked all the boxes for me. Whilst Lake Sophia Hawkins Zimmerman is an intriguing woman, a woman who has secrets, who I admired. It may have been a novella but it captivated and held my attention. Once I started this book I couldn’t put it down. Callahan and Lake met at Quantico and have remained best friends. I enjoyed the mystery and intrigue within this story and cannot wait for the next book in the series to learn more about Callahan and Lake and the secrets that are being hidden.
