Amazing!. I'm a huge fan of Ringo Starr, and of course The Beatles! this is just a sample of Ringo's book coming out later this year, I went to the Grammy museum and there were way more photos over there so it's a possibility Ringo will have all the photos in the hard copy, but the e-book makes me so excited for the one coming out later, good Job Ringo!! :)

Problems. I know a lot of work went into this ebook. I have the Genesis books, so I know their reputation. However, my ebook shows only frames for the photos with a big question mark in each frame. I can see two videos and the text on five pages. Anybody know how to fix these problems? I'd like to see more.

iPhone?. I was just hoping this would be available on iPhones.. I do not own an iPad and I'd REALLY like to read this..

Thanks, Ringo & Genesis!!. Wow!! I've seen a lot of Genesis books and their work is constantly pushing the boundaries of publications. The way they are able to bring together the artistry of what they have produced for decades and the contemporary style of publishing as they continue to grow and evolve is wonderful. With "Photograph", their first e-book, they have done it again. Though the number of their Beatles publications are rich, they are all unique. It's so amazing to see the experience of being in one of the most prolific bands from Ringo's perspective. If you're a Beatles fan, you'll be pleased by this gem. And if you're a devout Genesis Publications lover, or a new convert, this e-book offers the quality you've come to know in a new a surprising format.

Why Can't we purchase this for a gift. Why can't I purchase this as a gift for someone?

Wait for the real book in December. I wish I had done more research on this before blindly rushing to buy this iBook. A limited edition hard copy will be available in December. I will buy that so now I just wasted 12.99. Many articles don't mention the hard copy. Disappointing.

Ringo’s photos. This is a fun book to look through, loads of photos with commentary by Ringo himself. Paul Tommy Mats

Pre-book to the book. Disappointed. Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed seeing the photographs, but there weren't many. For the money, I expected a real book. Not sure I will be buying the next iteration because I can't get my money back if I'm again disappointed.

iPhone Please!. I really really REALLY want to read this book but its only for an iPad, and I'd like to get it for iphone because I dont have an iPad,but I'll rate it 5 stars because it looks like an amazing book, and Ringo made it!

Just an advertisement...not the real book. Although this works well, and I like the interactive aspect, and there are photos I have never seen, this is nothing more than a $13 advertisement to buy the real book that is comng out later. (and will be quite expensive) I believe the money is going to charity, but I thought I was buying the book. For those who hated it, this is just a PREVIEW of the real book.

Big Disappointment. I had such high hopes for this e-book. There is no sense of continuity- it just seems like bits and pieces of things thrown together. Ringo's commentary is extremely short and non-revealing. The photos themselves are very average. Much of the book is about people and places even the most fervent Beatle fan doesn't care about. I think a large part of my disappointment is that I viewed Parts I and II of Living In The Material World about George's life, produced by the great Martin Scorcese about a week ago. After viewing that beautiful documentary about a wonderful man who happened to be a Beatle, Ringo's e-book is just so pale in comparison. He could have put so much more effort into this. This is just an easy way to make a quick buck whereas Living In The Material World flowed so smoothly and was made with so much love. There is a lot of insight into the Beatles through George's eyes and memories and into the remarkable man he was. I hope Ringo leaves something much better behind for history. I'm so sorry, but this e-book is a ripoff and a dud.
