Definitely recommend! 1000/10. Such an amazing book! At some points it can be a tearjerker so get prepared for that. Each page is intriguing and it gives you excitement and anxiety wondering what’s going to happen next. But like I said an AMAZING book!

LOVE!!. I will say Atlas wasn’t my favorite throughout the book, but I understand why Lily loved him so much. But I’m not sure why I was hoping she would’ve given Ryle the chance to fix his mistakes and help him get the help he needs. He’s traumatized and he knew that. He even asked her to help him and I get the breaking the cycle but I don’t know part of me just wishes she would’ve helped him and ended up with him. I really loved this book until the end!! I couldn’t put it down and my husband says “I didn’t know you read like that” He then bought me the next book and 3 others😆

Must read book. I could not stop reading was a great love story. Greatest book for women who are in Domestic Violence situations to gain strength resilience stay strong to love themselves first to be a role model for their children as well 🩵

AMAZING!!. One of the best books I think i have ever read it kept you going through the whole book there’s always something more intriguing on the next page it’s so hard to put down!!! I had to get up and pace around my room at some points in the book because you can feel the emotions they’re feeling and it gets rough but it is a 10/10 I definitely recommend you to read this book!!

OMGGG. I really loved the story of lily and everything that the writer was told in that lines, I felt same feelings than all people in there. But most importantly the message that is given to us, that’s the point ❤️‍🩹 when I bought the book I was thinking the title was referring to something totally different as the last reflection 🤍🤍

It was an amazing book. I wouldn’t say it made me sob, but what i can say is this book is a great book. It was a lovely love story between 3 people with different endings. It opened my eyes to release the different types of love and how loving someone can also effect the way you view them and make decisions. Love how this isn’t just a love story but also a real life experience.

Not worth the hype. I saw this book on booktok a lot and wanted to read it. When I finally got a copy I was heavily disappointed. Firstly, the writing was bad, predictable, and random at times. Second, I really enjoy sad stories but this made me feel nothing at all only a bit of pity for her but I really don’t get what people were crying about. Overall I didn’t like it and wouldn’t recommend it

Not for me. I heard sooo many good things about this book, and was SO excited to read this, however I was looking for an exciting love story/romance etc. and this was NOT that. I was immediately hooked, about to tell everyone to buy this book but it gets so dark and awful. Trigger warnings after trigger warnings, I just don’t understand why this was enjoyable for people, I was just sobbing at the end and not in a good way.

amazing book!!!!. this book was amazing! i recommend this book to anyone. this is my first book that i am reading from this author and i’m looking forward to reading her other books. the ending was very unexpected but definitely teaches women that you must put your foot down in situations, and shows us how much self worth is important!

omg. holy moly, this book put me through such an emotional roller coaster ✋🏼. before it ends with us, i hadn’t read anything in 6 years. the only reason i started reading it was because of my friend paige. she said i should read it and i was like maybeee but then i didn’t. then she recommended it to my other friend alexa, and she started reading it. they were always talking about it and i felt left out of the convo so i started reading it. next thing i know, i’m finished before alexa cause i read 10 chapters every day lol. i finished the book in less than a week! not super impressive, but for someone who never EVER reads i think it’s pretty decent. anyway this book is so good. it’s not your average love story. it deals with the topics of physical and emotional abuse, which really makes the love story so much deeper. anywho i would recommend this book to anyone with a brain and a heart. idec if it’s not their kind of book. anyone in the right mind would love it. I'm torn. I fell in love with the characters and their different mindsets. The whole book is so good that I finished the whole thing in a day! The connection between the characters is very interesting. Lots of ups and downs which makes it interesting. Love the plot twist in this book so much. I just feel torn about the outcome. Colleen really gave us a roller coaster ride. Definitely recommend this book for hot people and I also recommend "It Starts With Us"

Okay, not my cup of tea. I personally felt like the takeaway message from this story wasn’t great. Characters didn’t have much dimension to them, and the vocab was underwhelming. Good story, not so great execution.

Okay. Honestly I didn’t love it. Don’t get me wrong- it’s a good book with an important message about abuse. The characters are dynamic and the story is interesting enough to keep you reading but I just didn’t feel like it was awe inspiring like I was lead to believe. It’s a little repetitive and for such a deep and hard hitting message I found it a little shallow. 🤷‍♀️

Terrible. The only reason why this book is rated so high is because people are so easily impressed by hot garbage pretending to be deep. It’s obvious these readers haven’t read anything of substance, so they think this uninspired, fan-fiction adjacent mess is enjoyable to read. Not only is it poorly written, but it has the worst characters and plot known to man. She’s writing in a diary to Ellen DeGeneres at the age of 15? That genuinely didn’t make you laugh out loud? She falls in love with a creepy loser who begs on his knees for s*x and on top of that his name is Ryle? You’re telling me that isn’t a joke? The plot conveniences and sad excuses for being deep makes this one of the worst books I ever read. I keep hearing people say this book is bad because it “romanticizes ab*se”. No, it doesn’t - it just does a piss poor job of portraying it. Colleen Hoover, do the world a favour and stop writing books. You are singlehandedly ruining the world of literature - and that is not an exaggeration.

This is the book that changed my feelings about love. I can’t even describe the feelings I went through the first time I read this book. I was told it was a romance book, that is a horribly wrong description. This is not a romance novel it is a story that covers a very important and sensitive topic. This book was almost like a wake up call to me it really helped me understand the perspective of the abused, they don’t always know that they’re being abused. They get blindsided by love and promise. This is something so many people across the world have struggle with and continue to, and the fact that someone can do that to another person, and then convince them that they are the one in the wrong is so scary. This book shows how this happens as well it really brings a light to the gaslighting that takes place which not only makes it physical but also mental abuse. When someone has just been injured by you and then you proceed to tell them it was their fault, and that they did it to them self is truly and horrific thing to do. I could talk about this book all day long but to bring it to a rap I just want to say that this book changed me and the way I feel about reading, I didn’t read much before it but now I have 7 Colleen Hoover books simply because this book showed me how much words can bring a story to life. The fact that this is a true story as well just makes it even more powerful. I recommend reading the authors note at the end of the book. I already have it starts with us on preorder it arrived at my house today so I am so excited to read it. Much love, stay safe❤️

Romanticizes Abuse. Do I even need to say more? Colleen hoover sure loves her romantic abuse stories but this one includes a homeless chef who has a thing for 15 year olds.

Still feeling that ending. This was an incredible story, and many parts brought me to tears. I could feel what Lily felt in each moment and struggled through each decision right along with her. Beautiful ending.

A great read for young women.. This book was fantastic. An easy read…heartbreaking while at the same time it is inspirational. A great read for any young women going through tough times with their partner. I feel as though many could resonate with this, as I know I did. I will definitely be reading more of Colleen Hoovers books.
