A Love Song for Liars. I really enjoyed the story and characters. I’m not a fan of cliffhangers though and am very disappointed this was one.

Loved! Can’t wait to read book 2. A Love Song for Liars is book 1 of Annie and Tyler's story. I have been wanting to read this story for some time after falling in love with Piper Lawson's Wicked Trilogy. I was not disappointed at all. I truly loved Annie and Tyler's characters and found their story captivating from the start. I'm not one who loves NA romances but felt this one was done very well and the storyline kept me intrigued throughout. It was a rollercoaster of emotions with some drama as Annie and Tyler navigate their friendship. As much as I wanted it all to be happy times I knew there would be some devastation with heartbreak since this is only book 1. Teddy Hamilton and Rose Dioro did an amazing job with the narration and bringing the story to life for me, I felt like I was there with the characters and feeling every emotion. I can't wait to read/listen to more of their story!

Awwww. I am NOT okay. Annie & Tyler are absolutely incredible. Captivating from the very first interaction. The rebel prince & the misfit rich girl are definitely not what anyone would call a match made in heaven. And that is perfectly fine, because for Annie, they don’t need to be. The turmoil on these pages held me hostage from beginning to end. Rooting for the two of them, for each of them individually. I think I may have developed a slight girl crush on our girl. She’s far wiser than her age would suggest. And Tyler, I don’t know if I want to love him or hate him. I guess I’ll decide in the next one.

I need this to be a Netflix series or something!. I can’t get enough of these characters!

Liars. Really enjoyed reading this book. Can’t wait to read the next one. I actually have downloaded it my phone some that I don’t have to buy and some that I do, but I am planning on reading the whole series. Keep on writing Piper!!! 😊😊

Amazing!!!!. Oh! My! Gosh! This is literally the best book I have ever read!!! I would rate it a billion stars if I could!! This book has love, music, rivalry’s, heartbreaks, and so much more that makes this book amazing!!!! Seeing the two main characters come closer together throughout the book is absolutely amazing. The way they talk and act around each other and how they care so much about each other!! But these things makes it so hard to end the book!!! The second and third make up for that!! This book will make you want to read it over and over again! Trust me! I’ve already read it like 10 times!!! If you are a person who loves romance and music then this is definitely a great book for you!!!

Amazing story. This story pulled me is fast. I read it just under a day. It made me laugh, cry and yell through out. Piper delivered a store that will keep you on the edge of tour seat till the end and will have you begging for me. A great story that everyone should read!

All the feels. Get ready to click purchase on a story that gives you angst, emotional turmoil, heartbreak, love and a roll coaster of emotions. If this book is any indication, this series will be undoubtedly one of my favorite this year. While it’s NA, Tyler and Annie’s story is one about two people who share commonalities in their emotions, their insecurities, and their ability to love each other despite the odds against them. Have you met someone who gets you but the world keeps putting things between you that causes confusion and hurt? Once you start reading, you will understand why Piper is one of my all time favorite authors. She has the ability to make a story resonate with the reader without making the story cliche. I am ready for book 2

I couldn’t put it down. I wanted a new book to read and thought I’d give this one a shot and I never put it down and finished it in a day! Kept me on the edge of my seat and I’m already onto the next book.

Annie & Tyler are PERFECTION. This book is one of my favorites for 2020....and this whole series has the makings to be one of my all-time favorites. So much angst and teenage emotions wrapped up in one amazing story. Annie & Tyler are going to be epic. This book will rip your heart out and I have no doubt the series will put you back together again! Piper Lawson has the ability to create the most amazing characters and these guys are no exception. Be prepared to want to be friends with Annie, fall in love with Tyler (and then kick him in the nuts at times—you know, like a real, pain in the butt guy), and possibly slap an overprotective rock-star dad. Also, be prepared to want to eat your feelings...I needed emotional support cake at the end (no lie and no shame!). Of course, now I can’t wait for A Love Song for Rebels to hit my kindle. “”What do you want?” Her next breath fills her lungs, my ears. “I want to forget you.” — “I don’t believe in gods, but if they ever existed… Their ashes stir each time that boy lifts a guitar.”

Opposites. Prep school, mean girls (and boys), music and opposites. This is a bully read (not my trope of choice) but it’s well done. Angsty and very YA/NA. Annie is the rich girl, wants to be on stage, good girl who hates Tyler. He’s poor, tatted, has a guitar and is now the prince of the bullies. So of course they are like opposite magnets.

Oh my beating heart. I love a good bad boy high school romance, and Tyler is just the right side of bad. He has no clue of his capabilities, but Annie, knows. She knows he’s going all the way, and she’s willing to stand by him every step of the way. High school romance is always full of so much drama, and Annie and Tyler were always going to be high octane, after reading the prequel novella Love Notes, and having read the Wicked series, I just knew that Tyler and Annie’s story would rock my world. I just didn’t realise it would leave me in pieces. Truly wonderful writing, a completely addictive story that I loved. Teenage drama, broody wannabe rockstar, forbidden romance. The only thing I’m sad about is I’ve got to wait to find out what happens next. I was a bit of a wreck to put it lightly. Addicted to the characters, addicted to the story, addicted to love. None of the aforementioned books need to be read prior to this book, but as always, it’s always great to have a back story, and it doesn’t hurt that they’re sooooo good. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.

Piper you did it again. Brilliant series. Really enjoyable but do start with Haley & Jax’s story. Good plot which leaves you needing the next book!

I’m not normally a reader.... Never been big on reading until I was exposed to the ‘After’ series written by Anna Todd (absolute perfection. A THOUSAND TIMES RECOMMENDED). I’ve read the whole series twice, so addicting and have been wanting to read more steamy romances! This book came up in my ‘suggested for you’ and thought I’d give it a go. The first few chapters were boring but once it got going I couldn’t stop reading. I really enjoyed it and I can’t wait for the next one!!

Absolute perfection. A Love Songs For Liars Rivals #1 Piper Lawson ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolute perfection! I could literally leave my review right here…. And I would if book 2 was ready but it’s not and I’m feeling numb, I really want it now. The last chapter has broken me, and left me gasping. I knew after reading Love Notes, his trilogy would be freaking amazing, but now I think it will be crazy freaking amazing! I think we’ve all attended a school with a bullying perception that is portrayed as ok, but being the daughter a rock star, meant Annie Jamieson would always be the odd kid out in a prep school full of rich families and bad attitudes. Annie has never been rich, she grew up not knowing who her father was, a mother who ditched her and reliance on her Aunty, but everything changed when Jax Jamieson told her he was her father, and she moved in with him, his wife Haley and their now 7 month old daughter, Sophie. At school Annie is constantly picked on by “the mean girls” ( yes, I think we’ve all watched that movie), but when her best friend, Tyler Adams comes to live with them and attend the same school, Annie’s life changed all over again. Tyler Adams has the ultimate rough upbringing, but living it up with track star Jax Jamieson gave him something to work for, look forward to - music. Now he’s attending Oakwood Prep, and become their God in his first day. So out of his element, the boys make his music king, and girls love his sexy everything, although he prefers to hide away. All this attention means his hanging out with Annie becomes an at home thing, but at school, she’s the nerd, the poo on your shoe, the one the mean girls target! But Tyler, doesn’t fall for the drama thing, he wants to learn, finish school, go to college…. Everything that wasn’t an option for him in his previous life. But he still looks out for Annie like she’s made of glass, no one puts her down, just ask Kellan… I had to keep remembering that Tyler and Annie we’re still young people, not adults, because that man/boy and his body made to pay attention, even in paper. The relationship between Annie and Tyler, is special. It’s sweet, sexy, but something more… they have a strong connection, one that mean kids can’t break, her parents can’t control and one neither can deny, but everything can change in a heart beat…. Stay tuned for more of Annie and Tyler, God I want them now….
