Fast read. I got the first three books in a box set. I like the plot and the characters . What I did not like was the books do it end. One book is a continuation of the last. So after reading three books, I still don’t know how it ends. And I’m wondering if I buy the next three books, will the killer be caught? I also did not like the graphic sex scenes, less is more.

Good concept but poor writing. It’s a good idea for a series, just not executed well. The characters are one-dimensional and behave like they are in junior high. There are errors that should be caught before publishing. And the profanity is gratuitous. The story could have been told in one book.

Mind blown. Loved it and can’t wait to read more of the collection!

Nicely paced detective story. Nicely paced with some twists and turns that keep you going. Jake and Jo make a good team, if Jake doesn’t manage to completely screw things up! Enough characters to keep you guessing early on, but not so many that you have to have a list on the side to keep track of “Who’s - Who”!

Captivating read.. This is a pretty fast paced book. I am intrigued by the idea of the “hangman”. I was put off a little at times by the constant bickering between the two main characters.

Hangman. DO NOT READ! Horrible. Way too lengthy to not have an ending. The book should have been cut in half (at least) and had a proper ending. Note to self: never purchase and read another book written by these two women. Ridiculous and monumental waste of time.

Don’t read not worth the bother of downloading. Story never finishes at the end of the book you simply get conned into buying the next one. It’s like those model parts which come with a magazine,the first one is 99 pence after that £3.99 and the finished model costs you hundreds of pounds

Unfinished. Well developed characters and plot unfortunately after reading three separate so called books the story has not concluded. Personally I prefer my books to conclude and not be chopped into sections just to ensure the author has further sales. I will not be finding out the ending to this anytime soon as I don’t enjoy being ‘strung along’.

Just don’t bother. Thought as this was a box set it would be the whole story.....I was so wrong, there are so many books in this drawn out series. Boring badly written and very very drawn out, the story could be told in one book! Don’t waste your money or time.

Badly written. This might have been a good story if it hadn’t been dragged out over three + books. But it was over-written, poorly characterised, bad dialogue, and drowning in cliches. I only persevered to the end because I hate leaving a book half read. Only to find out there’s a damn part 4. Are you kidding? Put this out of its misery, please!! I feel cheated enough reading this for free, expecting people to pay for more is optimistic.

The Hangman. After reading 3 books it left me hanging , no resolution, totally screwed up police work, top cop screwing everything that moves including the shrink. I’m so sick of having to purchase more hogwash to get to the ending. I’ll write my own in my mind. Don’t bother with this series it’s repetitive, unrealistic and frustrating.

A very enjoyable book series. I got caught up in this book as soon as I started reading it. The characters are interesting and the storyline is very interesting. I highly recommend.
