the Quiet Game. This Mississippi man can write!

The Quite Game Greg ILes. A fantastic read!! In a small town in Natchez Tennessee secrets are revealed by an attorney named Penn Cage, once a Texas prosecutor. He is from this small town where their are secrets about a racially motivated murder of a black man by a Judge named Leo Marston, an extremly wealthy man and a rookie FBI agent who is now the director of the FBI who are willing to murder to keep a secret of their sordid past. Enjoyed immensely !! My highest recommendation!!

Too long. Parts if this book were excellent but some of the book could have been shortened to make the plot move along quicker.

Maybe the greatest book of all time. How is this not a movie ? Woah this man has talent beyond belief. I thanked the person who turned me on to this series throughout the book. Already planning a trip to take the Greg Isles tour and meet him.

The Quiet Game. In today’s (2019) America of political corruption, it is easy to understand this story’s highlights of the corruption of power in the past. The Quiet Game is a fast paced, hard-to-put down book. Well written. I’m a big fan of Greg Iles.

A really great book. I read two to three books a week, most of them are quite good. I have never read this author before. However, he really knows how to surprise you in each new chapter. This one of the best books I have ever read.

amazing. I want to start off by saying that my husband told me to check theses books out awhile ago. I can’t believe that it took me so long to start reading this book. I am so glad that I finally did. And can’t wait to continue reading theses books. Highly recommend this book. The narrator did amazing job keeping me wanting to know more. About Book Penn Cage just lost his wife and to take care of his daughter alone. He decides to leave Houston to move back to his home town Natchez Mississippi. To have help from his family. But when Penn returns things that were left unsolved. Penn wants to know more about and things and people end up hurt. Again I highly recommend this book. Will be starting book two soon.

Grisham Like. A good read, very Grisham like but very entertaining. I would recommend and will read a second book by this author.

Iles at His Best. The Quiet Game is a prime example of why Greg Iles is my favorite author. He has a talent for putting the reader there with the full range of emotions the characters experience from first word to last. You find yourself laughing with them, crying at their sorrow and pain and rejoicing at their triumphs as if they are your very own family and friends in life. His writing is so vivid you can smell the magnolia blossoms and feel the spray of the Mississippi on your skin. Iles is truly a master of art in the finest sense.

nydivine. I was liking the story until almost end. It drag so much for long that I had to skip many pages. Don't think I'll keep with series, too long.
