A MUST READ.. One of the best books I've ever read. I loved all the characters and became so attached to them. I'm so sad that I'm done with it now!

What Alice Forgot. Fun read

Amazing. As a mom of three and a husband that is always away for work this really touched home. What a page turner!!!

Love her mix of humor and storytelling. We all have different genres we enjoy reading. So first let me be clear, I enjoy the escape of a novel filled with humor, can't put the book down, and storytelling. If you don't care for those types of books then I would say don't waste your time. What I enjoy about Liane's writing style is I personally connect with the characters, finding myself sitting across from them at a coffee shop listening to their story and wanting to cheer them on. Again, if that's not your type of book then carry on. What Alice Forgot was the first book I ever read by Liane and have fell in love with her writing style. I read a lot of business and science articles so this is a great refresher.

What Alic Forgot. So much more than I expected! Hilarious and attention to the details of each character.

Beautiful!. A beautiful novel about human relationships and emotions, about how people change, and how sometimes it's so important to hold on to our younger, more naive, more careless selves...about the importance of cherishing every moment and every memory.

Could not put down!. Very good read, I laughed and Cried.... good ending!

New favorite book. LOVE this book! It's an easy read, cute and fun, and my new favorite book!

Loved this book. I loved every second of this book. It really made you think and look at your own life. I think so many of us could be the "old Alice". I am actually trying to think of this book in my own daily life. Great read.

Heartfelt and relatable. This is a wonderful story that is heart wrenching and relatable. I personally suffered a head injury and had issues with memory but not to the extreme of this character. This is one you won’t be able to put down!

A must read!. Honestly one of the best books I have read. Not only do the characters evolve into amazing people, but the book really allows you to acknowledge the things that are most important in life. I was NOT able to put this book down, and I was totally sad when I finished it because I was craving for me! The beginning is a little slow, but the anticipation of what I knew was coming kept me flipping the pages.

What Alice made me remember. I was recommended this book by my best friend. I had no idea how this would totally hit home for me. I've been married for 12 years and I know I'm not the woman I was in my 20's. It's easy to let life change you. It's important to grow with your partner and not AWAY from them but it's so hard not to let that happen. We all get caught up with our day to day routines and we tend to take the small things too serious and the important things not serious enough. I enjoyed the glimpse into Alice's life. I felt like I was the one in an accident and found myself appreciating my husband and daughter more. It's a great read.

Third time reading. I just can’t say enough about this book. My friends are so sick of me pressuring them to read this book. As much as I love when they make movies out of my favorite books, I would be very critical if they changed any part of this story.

Absolutely lovely.. I'm drawn to the author because she pulls you in so expertly. Fabulous read!

Excellent. This book really spoke to me and to say why would be spoilers. I just loved it.

Outstanding. You actually can’t seem to fail with Liane Moriarty. She is a fabulous writer and all her books resonate deeply with the reader. What Alice Forgot is about a woman who temporarily looses her current memory and seems to think she is 10 years younger. This books reminds one of how time changes you, sometimes not for the best. However we need to try to remember the good stuff. I truly recommend it!!! And if you can read her other books too.

Random pick. I purchased this book in person at random. I am so happy to have found liane as an author. What Alice Forgot was a great, touching, and reflecting read. I look forward to reading more of her books.

Such a fun read. This book keeps you on your toes the entire time while keeping a thorough storyline. You care so much about Alice’s journey that it’s almost impossible to put down the book. Highly recommend!!

My favorite of her books. I don’t think I’ve read them all, but I’ve read a lot of them, and this is my favorite of her books

Great story of life. Truly brings the most common and famous real marriage/ relationship problem into funny witty well written story of life. Best book from the author!!

Great story. What an amazing story! Her books never disappoint and give a reader something to experience through these stories.

So Good. This book definitely kept me wanting to read nonstop! Lots of suspense about what was coming next. But also, it was just a really good story. Makes you think about the value in stepping back and looking at the big picture sometimes, instead of the small scale places we find ourselves in during different periods of our lives. Loved the ending.

What Alice Forgot. Alice taught me how easy it is to forget the really important things in life and let all the petty things distract you. I loved her and this book. Read it NOW!

What Alice Forgot. It definitely was one I couldn't put down!

D. UFirst thing uglya

Amazing amazing. Read this book. You will love it and love Alice and Nick

Wow!. This was so good! Could not put it down! Makes you rethink how you live your own life.

Enjoyable. 3.5 Stars (round up to 4) I really enjoyed this book. While I don’t particularly like the ending, I was engaged the entire book. I like Alice’s journey and seeing how much a decade can change someone. I also loved Elizabeth’s POV. Her story line was great and I loved the different perspectives both Alice and Elizabeth gave about their lives. I honestly feel like Frannies POV was not needed. It didn’t add anything to the story for me. It feels like the only reason they had it was to add more meaning to the baby name at the end but I could have still gotten that without her POV. Overall, really good book and I’m glad I finally read it.

Good book. A little hundrum on the details, but engaging all the same.

My new favorite author!. This book had a big impact on me. There were moments that made me cry and others that made me laugh. It hit me hard- the whole concept that we are constantly changing as people- our personalities, our dreams, our values- and we don't even realize it. If the person I am today could zoom ahead 10 years- what would I think of who I had become? It's heavy stuff, but Moriarty has a way of making it as light and as enjoyable as lemon meringue pie. Loved it!

What Alice Forgot. Exceptional!

Thought provoking. What a great book. Well written and hard to put down which is a hallmark of all her books. This one adds on the profound question of what if. It makes you want to examine your own life and wonder if you've made toe right decisions along the way.

So so so good!. Makes you really think. Loved this book!

One of my all time favorite books. I've read this book over and over and over again. I love it from the beginning to the fantastic end. I adore the younger Alice and every time I start thinking about her I go back and read it again! I'd give it 10 stars. There are only three books that I can read repeatedly and love them every time. This is one of them.

Absolutely Love This Book. I read this book in 3 days. Brilliantly written! Would recommend this to anyone.

Little drawn out in my opinion... Don’t get me wrong, it was a good read... but it definitely wasn’t a “I need to read one more chapter.. I can’t put it down” kind of book. It took me two weeks to finish which is so not like me, I normally finish a book in a few days. However, I loved the last half of the book and the ending.

Another good one by this author. Fascinating concept. Interesting characters. Loved this book.

Loved it!. Loved this book! My new favorite author.. Read The Husbands Secret, loved it and read this in 3 days! Couldn't wait to get back to it.. Kind of sad its over.. Just bought Last Anniversary.. Hope its as good!

Wow. Couldn't put it down. I seriously lost sleep cuz I couldn't put this book down. She's a great writer who made the characters so real I miss them now that I've finished the book. Made me think---very profound. If only we could see ourselves that objectively without losing our memories! What would we change? Would we like ourselves better "before"?

I have mixed feelings. I liked the story line and the characters and it has some very good "life lessons" we can all learn from.....but I have to admit I skimmed through about 25% of it. Once I read most of the background dialogues I pretty much knew what the background was......so I skimmed quite a few of those parts because I hadn't figured out the ending and was anxious to get there. I went back to see if I had missed anything and I don't believe I did.

Good read if you like endless details. It was a bit long winded. I liked parts of the book and other parts where just too wordy. I did like the characters, the plot, and storyline. I had to skip over some of it just because it was going on and on. I got bored with it after awhile. The ending was really good though.

Couldn't put it down. Loved this book!!! Absolutely a must read. I Didn't want it to end!

Good read once you get into it. The beginning was interesting, the middle was a little difficult to get through, but worth it for the realizations she makes about herself, her life, her family & relationships. Overload of names introduced at the start & journal entries didn’t seem super necessary.

Liane Moriarty…. …hates fat people. After reading three of her books, I understand that the author is patently fatphobic. Seems no female character can have a triumphant character arc without ending up fertile and thin as a rail. Trashy beach novel with a lot of promise. Falls short due to author’s archaic ideas of feminine fulfillment.

Not a good read. I loved two other books by this author so thought I'd try this one. It was so boring....I forced myself to keep reading, thinking it must get better. But no, it didn't. If you haven't read Big Little Lies or The Husband's Secret....buy those instead.

Crying. Do you want to cry yourself though an entire book? Here you go. Prepare to have serious conversations with yourself and a box of tissues.

What Alice Forgot. I couldn’t put it down, finished in 4 days. Made me want to be in love again.

Beautifully Written. But too many details, it dragged out too long.

Just ok. Good story, but there was entirely too much detail. I skipped over a lot of it and had to force myself to finish it.

What Alice forgot. Really makes you think about your life. Especially if you are pushing 40 with kids and a husband.....

Love this book!!!. Absolutely amazing!! What a wonderful way to reflect on your own life and what is important. People get so caught up in things that seem so earth shattering but really are just so small. Thank you. Thank you for this gift.

What Alice Forgot. The interesting descriptive multi layered personalities made this an excellent read.

Funny and thoughtful. Really gets you thinking, all the while having a really good laugh!! Excellent!!

Thumbs up. It may be a wee bit long, but it’s really very good

Surprisingly satisfied. At first glance I thought it would be another chick-lit. Very interesting concept and thought provoking. Made me wonder if I have become someone I would've hated to be when I was 10 years younger.
