Captivating. I really enjoyed this book. It is not the genre I usually gravitate towards, but I noticed the great reviews and decided to give it a try. I found myself captivated by this author's work. I was quickly swept away within the first few chapters. Definitely give this one a go. It feels like a historical romance of sorts, but with a great many nail biting moments; a storyline that is in someways conventional, making it comforting, but also has quite the twists and unexpected turns. Also so grateful that it is being offered at no charge!! Can't get much better than that in my book ;)

Enjoyed!. "A Hint of Rapture" is my first Minger read, but it won't be my last. Thoroughly enjoyed the characters, plot, and historical references.

Great characters, great story. I love most of the books from this author. This one of her best. It kept me reading and glued to the characters.

Another gem!. I cannot read this authors books fast enough! So richly detailed in history and dialogue, you're taken to another place and time, you fall in love with every character. The romance and the love scenes sweep you off your feet. I've said it before-I wish these books were made into films!

It's ok.... But the author's idea of Scottish dialect is interesting, and there are some glaring historical inaccuracies. Just because it is free, doesn't mean it should be poorly researched.
