Bad Monkey. It's been a while since Carl Hiasson turned out a light funny cop story. Heard him on NPR and bought it. It was fun and easy to read. Great Florida grown characters as usual.

Decent but not Great. Unlike his other books this one made me chuckle from time to time but it wasn't as funny as his earlier books. The plot is fine but the dialogue which gave his older books the charm and bust out laughter is missing. Just another summer book.

Bad Book. Stopped reading after reading 3/4 of book. It's all over the place. Did not like any characters and did not care how story ended. Very disappointed I spent so much time on this.

Vintage. This is our favorite writer taking the craft to the top shelf! Brilliant is all.

Always entertaining!. The characters are awesome and story had lots of twists & turns keeping me plenty entertained. Only downside is Skink never made an appearance.

No Warning the frozen arm was used IBOOKS REFUND!. The book is a mystery and involves a persons arm in a freezer yes as noted in the ad said nothing about the arm used for sexual favors post mortum rigger mortis as an attribute. DISGUSTING!!!! Not warned REMOVED THIS PURCHASE!!!!

Bad Monkey. I'm a big fan of Hiassen but this is a very sub-par effort. Not worth the money.

Funny & enlightening. Absolutely hilarious-typical Hiassen, keeps you giggling well after, plus a great reveal on fraud in medicare/medicaid.

Awesomely entertaining. Great book, which exceeded my high expectations based on the recommendation. I usually have plots figured out very early into a book. However I was so invested in the characters I didn't care to think any further ahead than the page I was on. Highly recommend.

Great jun. I totally enjoyed his book. Funny yet manages to have characterizes that keep your interest. My first by this author and I plan to read more. I generally don't read detective/crime solving fiction, but enjoyed this one.

Bad Monkey. Absurd depiction of Key West. Quite tiring and childish. Moronic and unfunny. It's as if he was tossed out of a bar or restaurant or two and couldn't get over it. The one positive - surely he'll never return......

Bad Monkey. Highly agreeable farcical gruesome goings on in Key West, Miami and points Caribbean. Tom Sharpe with palm trees. Cynical and funny, with seemingly every twist and turn recapitulated at the head of each new chapter--for the distracted iPhone reader?

Stick with it. I thought this started a bit slow compared to some of Hiaasen's other books but once it found its rhythm it was spot on chuckle out loud.

Bad monkey. Another thriller in south florida by the miami herald's own Carl hiaasen. A lot of of funny subplots. At least all the good guys lived happily ever, at least through the last chapter. Couldn't put the ebook down.

Who else.... ...would put nicoderm on a monkey? 5 stars!

Hiaasen Being Hiaasen. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The best Hiaasen book since Skinny Dip.
