War Dogs. Great plot and story. Realistic military action. Perspective moved around more than I liked. Some confusingly written portions.

Good, Better, Best.. The problem with reading Mr Bear’s books, and I’ve been reading them since he started writing them, is, they make it difficult to read anyone else. Mr Bear has such a vivid imagination and an eloquent style, other works pale,.... no seriously, take an old Veteran’s word.

Great Book. Excellent Premise. Nobody does hard military SciFi like Greg Bear. Thrilling read and hard to put down. Great premise and I hope he writes a sequel to complete the promise of this idea.

The end?. This was a really good read till I got to the end. It doesn't really end - it just stops. None of the mysteries were cleared up. No questions were answered. If this is supposed to make me want to read another... I don't think so.

War Dogs. It wasn't . . . . . bad. I'd expected better.

Almost great. The writing is first rate, the characters draw you in and make you root for them, the plot is clever and there is plenty of action and suspense. Bear describes imaginary places so vividly you feel like you've been there. Couldn't put it down. But then, in the middle of the story, the book suddenly ends. I kept looking for the next chapter. Still a good read, but a little disappointing.
