Are you happy?. I didn’t think I would be able to love a book more than the first one, but I was wrong. We see Nina almost a year after her relationships with Jack and Liam has ended. She’s finally discovering who she truly is on her own when Jack comes back in the picture. She has to ask herself, is she happy? Or is there a reason she can’t stop thinking about Liam?

Self discovery is not always easy. This is the second book in the series of Nina Fontaine’s journey of finding herself. It has been months since she broke up with the two very different men in her life and Nina has realized that she needs to be true to herself. She has learned to ask herself the right questions on the road to that path. I loved this book even more than the first one and definitely recommend it. I received this book from the author as an arc and am writing this review voluntarily.

The Surrender of Nina Fontaine. This is the second book of the series. Though the writer is a very talented writer, this book was a little too dark for me and I couldn’t identify with Nina allowing Jack to abuse her in all the ways he did. Was so relieved she came to her senses. I am surprised she didn’t feel the need to go to therapy. But I am curious enough about what happens to her to read the third book. Like I said, a very talented writer.

Never a Disappointment. The Surrender of Nina Fontaine is the second book of the series. Nina is still trying to figure herself out. It’s been awhile since she broke off from seeing two completely different men. Jack an older man who is dominating and can give Nina the world . Liam who is younger then Nina and is loving,caring and can give her real passion. Nina is missing them both but she needs to figure out what she really wants. Nina continues on her journey to find her true self. This is another wonderful book by Michelle St. James . I can’t wait to see how Nina Journey ends.

Their whirlwind of a relationship takes them on new adventures and deeper into the bedroom. As their relationship unfolds and Jack declares his love, Nina asks herself if she is truly happy. Does she want to be in a relationship for the sake I it? It is she in love? And why is Liam still playing on her mind? During the book she meets a new friend, full of life stories and wisdom. Judith shares some great words with Nina and this stuck out for me....(it’s real I think that’s why it’s stuck with me) “I cared for him. But I think I was more afraid of being alone than I was in love.” Nina leaned forward. “And later? After you moved to New York and got married and became one of them?” Judith’s smile was indulgent. “Well my dear, I quickly learned the most important truth of all.” “Which is?” “We’re always alone. And no one and nothing in the world can ever change it.” This book was definitely a great read! I’m so excited for the next one and to read Nina’s journey unfold ❤️
