Hard to follow. I’ve been reading the Mackenzie White series since receiving the first book free. It’s hard to follow at times due to the errors, such as the baby is a boy but when Mac talks about her mom then he is a granddaughter. There are words missing or misspellings throughout many of the books. I have read a few books further into the series and Mac talks about only being in Seattle for 2 days at a conference hmm what happened to the case with Mac and Ellington with the storage facilities killer that was in Seattle? The price continues to increase so I would like to see the errors improve.

Proofreading Catastrophe!. Please get a new proofreader….at one point the book says that they had a daughter and it is referring to. Their baby boy! Words are missing in the middle of sentences. Come on !! I just read the reviews of the next book and it looks like the same problems in that book. The price of the books has been going up so I would have assumed the proofreading would improve not continue to get worse. I won’t be buying anymore until the reviews prove otherwise.

Really Liked. Good plot, great characters BUT too many typos. Need to find someone who can proof read!

Typos. The Mackenzie White Series is great but there are so many typos and mistakes. Please find a proofreader.

Many errors - who is proofing these books?. I am “thinking” of purchasing this book, but am so annoyed by all the errors in the previous books, I’m not sure whether I really want to subject myself to more grammatical errors and storyline errors. PLEASE, check your storylines from previous books and stick with the facts. Your readers DO notice!

Massive errors?. Haven’t even finished reading but the errors are distracting and just sad. Any proof reading done at all? None of the other books have been this bad.

Great book. I like that Blake writes in such a way that I am able to feel any character’s feelings and apprehensive positions in their life. I appreciated getting to know the FBI agents as a new family and the introduction of the killer. I love the twists and turns as Mackenzie gets the break in the case and the thrill of the final chase.

Good plot.....deplorable spelling and grammar!. As a long time Blake Pierce fan, I was disappointed at the standard of both the spelling and grammar in this novel. I have read upwards of 25 of Blake’s books and whilst the various plots are intriguing, the standard of spelling and grammar is very much sub-standard, especially in the more recent offerings. Even a simple spell check would eradicate a great number of errors.
