A Life Without Water. I think my favorite character Is Tobias- such a stabling force, through out.

Depressing novel. I reluctantly finished this book. I thought it was depressing and sad. Wish I never read it

Loved it!. This book is a keeper!

Emotionally draining!. This is a story full of life, loss, regrets, grief, pain, hatred, forgiveness and many many “aha” moments. Caroline and John were married. One tragic moment destroyed their lives forever. She left him in the middle of the night and started another life somewhere else. Many years later John finds her. He wants to take their daughter on a vacation he promised her 24 years ago and he wants Caroline to go with him. Will she choose to go on this journey with a man that she has HATED for so many years? This book was fantastic but not a book I would normally read. Nevertheless, it left me emotionally drained. I ugly cried MANY times! Reading this book was like watching a movie playing in my mind but more real. It was like I was in the RV with them. I felt their anger, laughter, sadness, tears and every other emotion they went through. Believe me when I say that they went through them ALL. Such a sad, BRILLIANT and EMOTIONALLY draining story!

Life without water. Really enjoyed! I am grieving the lost of a son and found this book relatable and cathartic.

Well done. I enjoyed this book but it’s a lot to take in! A lot of sad but forgiveness and deep grief . Enjoy!!!!

5 Stars! A totally gut wrenching story!. WOW! I have never cried ... no sobbed more when reading a book! I have never read a book anything like this one. This is one of those books that I’m not going to forget ... I don’t have many of them, maybe 10 out of the 800 or so books that I have read. Ms Bolden sure know how to write a story that will rip the heart right out of your chest and make you look at things in a different way than you originally did. At first I absolutely hated John for how he was during his marriage to Caroline, but by the end I just felt sorry for him. Caroline went through so much in her life ... how can someone come out of all that heartbreak and be sane. I’m crying now as I’m writing this review. Nothing can be worse than the death of your child and this book shows how people react differently to horrific events. I highly recommend this book ... but make sure you have lots of tissue on hand. I received an early copy courtesy of Pink Sand Press through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.
