Callum & Desi. Can I just say that I love Lani Lynn Vale!! Her books are awesome and Crazy Heifer is no exception, it’s just as great as the others. Desi is divorced from a big donkey’s rear (even be ex-FIL know it and prefers her), but catches the eye of Callum who comes to her rescue. Callum isn’t going to let her ex-jerk mess with her. And he does it in only the way a Valentine can!! You gotta love those Valentine boys!!

Review: The Valentine Boys 2: Crazy Heifer. Crazy Heifer by Lani Lynn Vale is the second book in her Valentine Boys series. Set in the same small town as our KPD Officers and SWAT guys, these Valentine brothers will melt your heart. This is Callum Valentine's story, and we knew it was coming, at least we did if we read book one, Herd That. Callum is Ace's younger brother, a twin, and absolutely besotted with Desi. Determined to break through her armor, help her train for the Spartan Texan race, help her deal with her poisonous ex-husband and his new fiancee and just basically be there when she needs him. Desi starts to realize that not all men are scum like her ex and while she tried to hold back, Callum is just absolutely everything she needs. He gives her the family she misses having and supports her and raises her up instead of beating her down with mental and verbal abuse. Emotional and less dark and twisty than some Lani Lynn Vale series have been I cannot wait to read more of the Valentine brothers! Enjoy!

Our girl Desi has had a really hard life and the only thing she needs is for her ex-husband to leave her the hell alone. Callum is not expecting this fiery redhead to captivate him so much, he goes into alpha protector mode. Thus these two cannot seem to stay away from each other. So much chemistry and heat. Another 5 Star Winner!

Another Valentine bites the dust!. Another Valentine bites the dust! After getting the little bit about these characters from the last book, I was so happy for someone to come in and give Desi what she deserves, and boy was this story a doozy! Desi is finally out of a bad marriage, but her ex won’t leave her alone even though he’s moved on. It’s like he’s made it his mission to make her miserable because people, including his family, have taken her side and care for her more. One day, Callum sees what’s going on and rescues her from the bullying and mean things, and then takes it a step further and helps her to conquer and meet her goals by helping train for the race. I loved these two together and I was so glad that Lani Lynn Vale gave them to us. In addition, I loved the relationship that Desi had with not only everyone, but especially her ex’s father, and how even though his son was wrong, he was able to make up for it tenfold. My heart broke for the situations that happened throughout the story, but I was so happy that in the end this couple got their HEA and the success they deserved. I can’t get enough of these characters and the overall storyline behind the Valentine brothers and can’t wait to see who falls next!
