INSTANT #1 NEW YORK TIMES AND WALL STREET JOURNAL BESTSELLER

“Fast-paced...pulse-pounding...supremely entertaining…His best ever.” —The Washington Times

“This might be the single greatest thriller I’ve covered....It’s amazing!” —The Real Book Spy

Scot Harvath returns in the newest thriller from #1 New York Times bestselling author Brad Thor.

The world’s largest bounty has just been placed upon America’s top spy. His only hope for survival is to outwit, outrun, and outlast his enemies long enough to get to the truth.

But for Scot Harvath to accomplish his most dangerous mission ever—one that has already claimed the lives of the people closest to him, including his new wife—he’s going to need help—a lot of it.

Not knowing whom he can trust, Harvath finds an unlikely ally in Norwegian intelligence operative Sølvi Kolstad. Just as smart, just as deadly, and just as determined, she not only has the skills, but also the broken, troubled past to match Harvath’s own.

Another great one. Burned through it in a weekend. Couldn’t not put this down

Rerun. Halfway into the book and stopping. Basically recounts everything that happened in the last book. Going through the motions. I’d like a refund.

Not Thor’s Best. Slow start, familiar story and overall average. Not the “can’t put it down” page turner I’ve come to expect from Thor.

Title is puzzling, nonetheless a good easy read.. Good story, easy read and I await Mr. Thor’s next book. Not five stars because it was so predictable.

The Author is Better Than This. This isn’t a feature-length novel. It’s a novella padded out with constant rehashing of previous books as well as the emotional musings of Harvath (stopped caring very quickly). I got halfway through the book and realized that only one new incident had occurred. Very surprising that the author released this.

Near dark. This was of brads most non stop page turner. He out done himself with this book.

The book is called near dark. As always an excellent read the author never let you down great book great The author makes you feel like you’re right there with Scott Horvath and thank you for every book in the series

Loved it!. Loved it!

Thor must be a fan of John Wick. Scot Harvath has a bounty on his head and has to fight/torture his way to the person who issued it. Sound familiar - except John Wick wasn’t an alcoholic. To think that a guy who was s..t-faced drunk every day for weeks can suddenly transform in the apex predator is incredulous.

Great until the end. The story was intriguing and it was hard to put down. However, it wrapped everything up too quickly and without enough detail for my liking. Still worth a read.

Boring. I could not force myself to finish reading it. And I had nothing else to do.

Another great addition to the Scot Harvath series.. Once I get into these books, get the lay of the land & back story, I can’t stop reading I have to see how each story ends. Thanks Brad for providing such great entertainment & escape. Your detail of the locations almost makes me feel like I am there & adds things to my bucket list. Omaha beach has always been on there once I found out my grandfather landed there in D-day, now the church is on my list. Thank you.

Not Good. I’ve read all the Harvath books and loved them. Until now. This was terrible. 352 pages detailing Harvarth’s personal struggles and no plot whatsoever. Really disappointing.

Terribly Written. Toss was by far the worst Harvarth book so far... the writing was not good. The story line was non-existent and felt rushed. There was no substance and even the character development and dialogue felt forced and pointless. This is a great series overall, but this book wasn’t enjoyable to read.

Thor does it again!. Near Dark is so well written, I find myself rereading lines in awe at the authors use of language. The book was hard to put down. Cannot wait for the next one.

Starting to Stray. Not one of his best efforts. Mr. Thor is starting to stray from his writing strength — which is action and adventure — to deep character development and complex interpersonal relationships. He may one day be good at it in a different format or context, but he is not yet there, and this is not the format. The book could have been a great deal shorter and it is almost as if, at the end, he said: “OK, time to wrap this up in the next 10 pages; let’s get it done with a nod to ‘next book’.”

Near Dark. I loved all the other books but his is tedious in the extreme, far too much backstory of every character that turns up. I think I got about about 100 pages in before I gave up.

Near Dark by Brad Thor. I just finished another great book from Brad Thor. This book continues the great SCOTT Harvath series and keeps you turning the pages. The locations they take you to in this book are worth the read alone. Enjoy

Great. Great read

Great AGAIN. The action never stops and I did not put this one down until I was done! Great Job Brad!

Near Dark. Near Dark was a nearly perfect book. Thanks to the author for putting a great deal of thought and effort into to plot and character development.

Incredible. Brad Thor sizzles with his latest adventure of Scot Harvath. Couldn’t put it down.

Near Dark. This book deserves 10 stars!! I loved reading this thriller! Thank you for an enjoyable few days! I hope to see more of Scot and Solvi! Just outstanding book!

Short but great. A great sequel.

Just ok. Not as exciting as a typical Harvath book

Near Dark. Boring - confusing - shallow

Simply the Best!. As always, Brad Thor delivers. The characters are always evolving, more characters introduced and circles made to keep readers on their toes and excited to turn the page. Can’t wait fir the next one.

👍🏿👍🏿. Love the series. Please by all means keep the coming.

Wouldn’t make a good short story. Very slow book until the end. Not much of a story, stuffed with uninteresting filler to make the book longer. I have read other books by Thor, some were good, but not all. He needs to sharpen his skills and write more dynamic text.

Still a Continuation. This still continues off the last two books. He gives the back story of the two books. Again we wrap it up in a last few chapters. I had a feeling we had a new LOVE Interest. It’s a decent read. Just one main story here.

Fun read. While I always feel like these books spend too much time rehashing earlier exploits to provide the background for the current story, it’s a great series, there are always a few insightful gems, and the author always delivers an exciting story for his readers (eventually!). Keeps me coming back for more. Twenty already, congratulations Mr. Thor! I look forward to the 21st!

Good but not Brad’s best.. A good summer read but I don’t think it was Brads best. And I think the end was a disservice to how Scot would have handled his wife’s memory.

Well Done. Another great adventure with Scott as he finds the answers he has been searching for. Truly enjoyed every bit of this book and looking forward to the next adventure with Scott. Thank you Brad for another great read. Rick

Near Dark. Great.

Same old same old. Nothing exciting. Probably one of Thor’s weakest books.

Near Dark. One of the most boring thrillers I’ve ever read. Plot was paper thin... very disappointing

High schoolers write better books. This might be the most clunky, awkward attempt at a blockbuster novel I have ever read. Don’t waste your time or money.

Excellent Book!. Great plot, outstanding characters, and an awesome list of places I now need to visit in Europe! Glad there was a happy ending . . I’ll leave it at that, Scot deserves it!

Near Dark. Guess I am dense..what happened to Nekrasov?

Near Dark. Excellent read. Hard to put down.

From the Dark To The Light. Never a dull moment. Non-stop action and unraveling of this globe trotting suspense novel...can’t wait for the next installment!

Near Dark. Exceptionally fast paced and white knuckles at times. Hard to put down and sadden when the story ended.

Near Dark. I’m pretty sure I’ve read every Scott Harvath thriller Brad Thor has written, and I’ve enjoyed each and every one. This character has evolved into someone quite different than who he was at the beginning of the series, so if you haven’t read them all , start back at the beginning. You will keep reading and reading and reading. Can’t wait for the next one!

Near Dark. Great read!

A Bounty Placed on his Head. Another great Scot Harvath mystery that takes him all around Europe. Revenge for killing his wife, a new partner, and a bounty on his head make intriguing and suspenseful reading.

Great read. Brad Thor sets the bar higher with every book he writes and then exceeds it. I’ve enjoyed and been entertained by every one of this series many taking place in areas I have visited. All faithfully accurate with plots that are irresistible. It’s good that I am now retired as many times I have read into the wee hours unable to put the book down. Thanks for all you write. I await the next.

Mediocre. Minimal plot, rushed the ending like author was tired of the story. Many pages of travel brochure and tour guide information pretendIng to pass for local color

Near Dark. Another five star book from Mr. Thor. One of maybe five authors that I can rely on for a "great read". Mr. Thor you need to find a way to have Solvi in your next book. What a great character she is.

Loved it. Loved it! Really enjoyed the emotional journey they went through. I hope it works out and they appear in future books.

Near Dark. A great read. The twist and turns were just wonderful. Could not put the book down.

Near Dark. It might be time to retire Scot Harvath. I was looking forward to this book to continue my prior edge of the seat experience. Instead it has rehash after rehash of Mr. Thor’s prior books. As a result, I might have missed something while I scanned and skipped paragraphs that became repetitive. Near Dark is not his best work.

Slow build up and fast ending. The first 500 pages have you glued to this book. Learning about Scot’s past trauma and his current situation is very good material. The build up to finding out “who” is very slow and they spend 300 pages finding one single guy ( Which I liked) But then rip though 5 other Guys in the final 100 pages . Wording this correctly I think the climax was at the wrong part. Overall worth the read.
