loved loved LOVED this book. reading this felt like the author himself reached into my brain and decided to write about it. everything here was perfect for me and i got through it quickly, which i usually don’t do for books. can’t recommend enough.

Kept Me Interested. I struggled with understanding some of the words and some of the imagery through words, but that is not the fault of the author. It was a difficult read for me, not because of the story itself, but because of my own skill set when it comes to reading. Otherwise, it is a great story that left my jaw on the floor at the ending. I really appreciated the author’s notes at the end of the book because it wrapped the story in a nice bow and made me think, “Aha, yes! That makes more sense now.” I’m glad I read this, but struggled sometimes because of my own reading handicap. It was graphic, yet not. It was gruesome at some points, but the author drew a line and never crossed it. I appreciated that! Same with parts that ventured down queer romance, there was a line that was never crossed because the book was about more than that. I’m interested in trying another book by this author!

Breathtaking. An amazing book. Had me staying up until 6:00 am to finish it. You simply fall in love with characters and the writing style. Your enthralled by them and want to stay by them forever. They all feel so real. They had done things or had thoughts I have also thought before. Ending is heartbreaking but lovely. 10/10
