Loved this book. Loved this book. It doesn’t surprise me that Biden haters are the first to comment. This was honest, heartfelt, and heart-rendering. I, for one, respect people who own up to their foibles and move on to be distinguished and a person of worth.

Politics aside. Politics aside - I can appreciate a good book. Curiosity did not kill the cat with this one. I was searching for a better understanding before judging and this so beautifully gave me way more than expected. For those that can sympathize and empathize regardless of what we believe to be true or not, this puts a lot into perspective. I may not agree with the policies they stand behind, but I appreciate the strength to stand up and speak out; whether I find his truths to be morally correct or not. Beautiful read.

Deeply touching and engaging. This was so well written it made me feel like I already know the person. I appreciated the insightful moments regarding addictive behavior. Hunter’s challenges seemed almost insurmountable but he came out on the other side to live another day. Thank-you for sharing your story.

Lies. Addiction is a horrific disease but Hunter is far from sober. All those that contribute and support this book are enabling his addiction and inappropriate actions further. He is the true definition of “white privilege” .
