Not a bad finish. Definitely a unique storyline with different characters. The author did her research and the descriptive details were well fleshed out and the supportive characters were all great. The last 1/4th of the book got beyond silly and ridiculous, but the book is still worth reading.

4.5-5 Stars!!. 4.5-5 Stars!!! This is book number 3 in the ‘Bow Street Bachelors’ series and can be read as a standalone. This book, NO, this series, is awesome! This author is really talented. I’d say this book is a bit of a love/lust-hate/annoy along with being a historical romance with a bit of a mystery! I loved the main characters, Sebastian/Seb and Anastasia/Anya. He’s the perfect bad boy, good guy, hero. She’s the perfect stubborn, good girl in trouble, can save herself, heroine. There’s a perfect bad guy, mustache and all! The story was interesting. The characters were well written. The banter between Seb and Anya was on point. And there was a big, shocking surprise that I did NOT see coming! I Highly recommend! I read this book in 1 day, I couldn’t put it down!!! Also- I hope Charlotte gets a novella/short story! Passion & Intrigue. Sensual and passionate, with an intriguing storyline, this third book in the Bowman Series is one readers will clamor for. Beautifully written, intensely suspenseful, full of danger, secrets, romance and love, it is nothing short of captivating. Oh these two... I knew before I opened this book that I’d love these two characters and this story did not disappoint. Sebastian Wolff Earl of Mowbray and Anna Brown who is secretly Princess Anastasia Denisova are delicious together. Their personalities, their conversation, their chemistry...my my my! I was a goner, charmed beyond words. These two are polar opposites, yet their chemistry and attraction is immediate. I was in book heaven, every moment spent with these characters was an ultimate pleasure. This had me practically drooling with anticipation from one page to the next... The characters are fabulously crafted and gloriously complicated. They seem to live, breathe, and jump off the page. The author balances the dark with a light witty humor and a sexual tension that adds sizzle to every scene. There is such beauty in this love story, such decadent sweetness in their attraction. But there is so much more to this story as it takes the reader on a breath taking adventure from Russia to the manors of England and into the gambling houses, brothels, seedy alleys where danger is lurking. As well as a devil of a Russian traitor. I have become a huge fan of this author while reading this series. She writes with such intensity and emotion. It lets me believe I have front row seat as these character come alive page after page. Happy Reading! I received an early copy through the publisher and NetGalley.

Bachelor #3. This is the story of Sebastien Wolff, Earl of Mowbray, Bow Street agent, and grouchiest of the trio of friends who own the Tricorn club and Anastasia Denisova, Russian princess in hiding and companion to the Dowager Duchess of Winwick, Seb’s aunt. Hooked by their hilarious first meeting, I loved watching the two of them come to terms with each other. There is instant attraction and great chemistry. There are also lots of secrets, mostly on Anya’s part. We have a truly nasty villain in Petrov. Couples from the other books in the series are joined by a feisty lady’s maid, a friendly Madam, a fussy French Chef, and Mickey. The story is fast paced and exciting, full of danger, drama kidnapping, and rescue, with a large side of romance, and a couple of surprises. The marriage “tests” for Seb are a hoot. This is a really good story. I enjoyed and recommend it.

The Princess and the rogue. The 3rd member of friends in the bow street members is Sebastian. The one who thought he would never marry falls head over hills for Anya (the princess). The banter and chemistry between them is wonderful. Their personality’s mix so well together. Great storyline and romance.
