A. Scott is my hero. Darker then the rest and possibly the best yet. The book seems real because it describes so many of the problems we face today.

His best book yet. I absolutely loved Tribes. I was so excited to hear that Mark Gimenez had written another Scottt Fenney novel, and this was his best one yet! The cultural relevance was impressive and eerily accurate. It was as if this book were written yesterday. I loved every moment and couldn't put it down! I hope MG continues writing Scott Fenney novels for years to come. I will be waiting on pins and needles for the next one!

NETFLIX MUST. Stunningly contemporary. A MUST READ. Intricately plotted to frame the story. As always amazing dialogue and tremendous really good deep laughs. Scary. Truth. Damaged people like so many in todays “world”. Impossible to guess at the ending. Deep love and affection. Whereas. NETFLIX you would do the world a great service to grab this book and produce a series from it. Please.

A disappointing addition to the Scott Fenney series. A rambling subpar novel. I have loved all of Mark Gimenez books but this one disappointed with the extreme characters that insulted women and people of color. At times it comes across preachy then it resorts to stereotypes that insults just about everyone. The story was just as predictive as it was so extreme that it takes away from the message the author wanted to share. It is a beautiful message wrapped in a poorly written story.

Disappointing. Really disappointing read from someone who wrote The Color of Law. I’m sure this effort will be well-received on OAN or Fox News, though. Honestly, it was the worst book I’ve read in quite a few years.

Don’t waste your time. I made it through the first 200 pages but then threw in towel. Totally unbelievable plot with equally far fetched characters. The first three books in the series were based on something the reader could at least find feasible.

SAD. Exciting right to the end but no happy ending. Long discussions on race, the Constitution and the fears of all of us and our desire to live in peace.. When will we get a President that wants to bring the country together and addresses the real issue. We need another A. Scott F with a more hopeful ending.

Not worth the read... Unrealistic in many ways especially regarding the DA and her power. Not an uplifting or inspirational book. Hopefully not an accurate picture of the future.

Way over the top. Everything about this series is improbable. Just stay away unless you read comic books.

Agitprop for Proud Boys. What has happened to Mark Gimenez? Tribes is a terribly poisonous work of partisan agitprop. All the bogeymen of Trump’s America are written into place fulfilling their assigned roles. Based on this work, Gimenez may have a bright future as the propaganda chief for America’s future fascist regime. His early works were so reminiscent of Grisham at his best, but his star has well and truly fallen. His conversion to this rubbish is a true loss to the world of the legal thriller.

Tribes. Mark Gimerex. It was and is a very true story with a meeting that is so relevant especially to what is happening today. Like all of Marks’s books it truely made me think, it held me to the end which was unexpected. Thank you Mark for a great interesting and thought provoking read. I await you next great book
