Sílvia, una ejecutiva que vive en la zona más alta y lujosa de Barcelona, descubre que su hijo Martí no ha ido a la última sesión de la terapia de rehabilitación con la que lleva meses tratándose. Es entonces cuando sus peores temores se confirman: Martí ha desaparecido sin dejar rastro. La única noticia que tiene de él es un mensaje que dice: «No me busques».
Tras intentar denunciar la desaparición en la policía, Sílvia decide investigar por su cuenta y consigue el contacto de Moni, la exnovia de Martí, una excéntrica joven que trafica con cocaína para poder cumplir su sueño: mudarse a Tonga, una isla paradisíaca de los mares del Sur. Pronto Moni también descubre que tiene un motivo para dar con él: Martí le ha robado el último fardo que guardaba en casa y con el que, por fin, terminaría de reunir el dinero suficiente para marcharse.
Desconfiando la una de la otra, Sílvia y Moni, bajarán al peligroso submundo barcelonés, donde tendrán que enfrentarse a la violencia y a la amenaza del Tigre, el capo de una mafia extranjera que podría hacer realidad sus peores pesadillas…
No me busques es un thriller trepidante y lleno de contrastes en torno a dos mujeres que solo juntas podrán encontrar el sentido de su vida. Entre ellas se teje una extraña amistad a través de la búsqueda del joven al que quieren, cada una a su manera, y a quien no saben si encontrarán vivo o muerto.
