Cat & Carter. This is Carter & Cat's story. They were mentioned in other books, and I love when we see stories like this stem from books! He is an MMA fighter, she works hard to protect her daughter. There are so many light spots and dark moments in this book just like in other Samantha Skye books, and it's perfect in this series. Great Book!

Good read. I have read all of the books in this series. I have enjoyed them all. My only bad thing to say is, I all of them they have children, and although the women are mentioned in all of the books, the children are not. So it kinda makes the books seem off. Other than that, they are really good reads. As a matter of fact, I have read them all at least twice! Can’t wait for the next book!!

Good. I’ve read all the books in this series and enjoyed them - well, the stories with similar book covers, they don’t appear to be labeled as a series but I’m guessing they are. This story was enjoyable about Carter and Cat. This pair is definitely opposites attract - one rich, one poor. Like her father, Cat grew up and became a doctor and even though she accomplished this she was expected to be a trophy wife (don’t think so). Carter was given a new life and saved from the streets by the mafia. He is loyal to them and made them his adopted family. Events arise that cause Cat's to feel threatened from her past.
