A GREAT READ !!!. I purchased this book on a whim and was blown away at how I got sucked in to it This author has got a fantastic way of bringing his story to life I will be looking forward to getting more of his books

Overwrought and absurd. One of the most ridiculous thrillers I've read, and I read a lot of thrillers (Baldacci, Plame, Silva, Thor, Berenson, Coes, Flynn, Hobbs, etc.). Half-way through the novel, the interesting Kennedy assassination thread is forgotten, and we are suddenly in a different world, one in which our lead character, a journalist, turns into an over-the-top superhero dealing with the cliche of world domination. Nothing he does is remotely believable. Equally problematic is the fact that the author has an appalling lack of scene sense and action development. He simply jumps from one moment to the next without a sensible story explanation. Characters, some already established, pop in and out of chapters like gophers peeking out of their holes on the prairie. If the author needs someone in a chapter, he simply tosses the person into the mix with no corresponding back-up information. Additionally, there are numerous grammar errors, spelling errors, and plot progression errors. If someone is going to publish something like this, at least hire an editor to go over the manuscript, just don't toss it into the marketplace. Overall, the book is ludicrous and laughable.

A good, historical fiction story. This started out as a fictional tale about the JFK Assassination, but then quickly went in different directions. At times it was tough to follow, since there were many different storylines to follow. If the length was any longer, it may have been tough to finish.

Enjoyable Read. Fast paced with intrigue. Interesting and thought provoking.

Yes for Jack Patterson. This book was spy tingling and heart racing. A great storyline with no bad language . I will read him again.

Not his best. Latter books seem better. A number of editing mistakes. Plot line is now silly now that all the JFK info has been released.

The Warren Omission. Just discovered Jack Patterson and this book is well-conceived, fast-paced, and just fun to read! I have his second book up next and I cannot wait to learn where he takes his hero, Flynn!

Waste of time. Terrible. Plot and characters were poorly developed. Complete waste of time; not worth the purchase price.

Too unbelievable. The writing is overly simplistic, there's absolutely no feel of realism. Every piece of the plot was introduced to the characters and readily accepted as if it was no big deal, no matter how incredible it would be to a real person. Once or twice I could deal with, but it happens so often it becomes a distraction and annoyance. I doubt I'll be reading anything else from this author again. There are many far better writers in this genre.

The warren omissions. I enjoyed the book. But to put one man in superman clothes was just to much. Flynn did things impossible for a single person to achieve. Of course it was all fiction but it was over done.

Gawdawful. This is one of the worst written books I have ever read. How it saw print I do not know. The characters are overblown to the point of comedy. The plot is unbelievable and groan worthy. Just a painful read.

This is a story you will not want to put down! Be prepared to engage yourself deep in this excitement from beginning to the very end.....

Meh. Meh. By the middle I just started skimming. Poorly written. Horrible story.

382 of the emptiest pages I’ve ever read. Who knew that a book purportedly about the assassination of JFK could be so boring? It is full of ridiculous coincidences, insipid dialogue, and bland narrative. None of the outcomes or plot “twists” is earned. Also,the writing is not award worthy; I cannot say how many times I asked myself, “I wonder if he really intended to use that word.” An utter waste of time and money.
