As if..... As if I needed another reason to adore Neil Patrick Harris! Now he writes a memoir in the form of a Choose Your Own Adventure Book? NPH can basically do no wrong in my eyes at this point, but this book really and truly is a joy to read.... And I've never even seen ONE episode of How I Met Your Mother.

So gooooood. Hideous death with piranhas? Unlikely! I mean, it tells a lot about NPH, and besides, who wouldn’t want to read it? He’s my fav!

Fantastic Read!. This book is thought provoking and such an enjoyable read. You get to experience the many sides of NPH that we have come to love. In today's Hollywood, NPH is true talent and a wonderful human being. Everything he's associated with is golden and this book is no different! Buy this book!

Not Great as an E-Book. I really wanted to love this book. I like Neil Patrick Harris, and it’s clear that he’s an excellent writer. That said, the choose your own adventure book style is really difficult to read in an e-book. I want to read the entire story and I can’t skip around very easily in an electronic format. If you get to “the end” of the book, you essentially have to start over and try to get to a different spot. Or you can just read the book in order as the pages come, but that doesn’t always make sense chronologically. If you’re going to read this book, I’d go buy a physical copy instead of trying to read the e-book. I think that would be a much more enjoyable reading experience.

So much fun!. I've been a huge NPH fan since his Doogie Days. I've seen a few of his late night interviews and found him such a wonderful combination of intelligent, grounded, and of course, funny. Definitely one of those people you would love to have over for dinner. An entire book of hilarious, touching, and just the right amount of snarky, stories was a joy to read. It almost feels like an audio book because you can hear Neil in your head while you're reading. Highly recommend.

Fun and Energetic. Neil's approach to writing this book as if you're reading about your own life helps to understand the perspective he experienced things. In same cases it was more emotional and relatable than you would expect from someone so much larger than life like NPH is
