Different take on a dinosaur story…. This book keeps you wanting to read it. You put it down and you look forward to picking it up again. It’s more a real life story about a park ranger (family, emotions, leadership, friendship, respect) with a dinosaur as part of the story than it was a story about a dinosaur and all the destruction it causes… but you’re always waiting for the dinosaur to reappear! Nice job!! Well written!!

Dinosaur Lake. I will say that the book was quite captivating. I found it very difficult to put it down in order to pursue other tasks at hand. Had it not been for the frequent introjections and the occasional grammatical error, I would’ve given this book a five. Great plot, great progression and good character development.

A scary, quick moving story!. Beautiful Crater Lake, Oregon, becomes terrorized by a monster dinosaur. Head Ranger Henry must battle not only the monster but bureaucracy, insane scientists, reporters and newspaper hounds to save his family, friends, and his beloved Crater Lake.

Loved It. I loved this book. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series.

What a great read.. Quite an adventure. When I start reading, it’s usually to help me unwind and I tell myself that I will just read a few pages to make the book last. I will say that is impossible with this book. Once I started, it wasn’t just a couple pages at a time, it was a couple chapters at a time. At my age that is a strain on the old body. However I can truthfully say that I will be seeking out the rest of these. Who knows, maybe if my grandson makes it here for a while we can share this new series.
