Lie to Me. A disappointment. I had to tell myself to keep reading.Too much story line about a drunk getting drunk. I purchase all J.T. Ellison books and this is one I would not even give to a friend.

I can’t stop cringing. I tried to branch out...but I could get through the first 2 pages without feeling uncomfortable. It feels like a horny 14 year old girl wrote this.

Too Similar to Gone Girl. The whole 3/4 of the book is very slow, boring, and a lot like Gone Girl. Then there were too many random twists that didn’t make any sense.

Great Book, please make a second!. I absolutely loved the story line and the detail that went into this book. You truly feel drawn into the book and the thoughts of each character! I never wanted to put it down! At the end I wanted to keep reading! I want to know how she knows about her daughter, why she wants to keep that a secret!? How long has she known!? Did she just find out, if not how did she find her in social media so fast?! Please make a continuance to Lie to Me!

Good Weekend Read. Suspenseful page turner read. My weekend here was cold and rainy so great opportunity to enjoy it. Not the best from this author, but was still enjoyable.

Lie to Me by JTEllison. I read about 30 books per month, more during the summer. I discovered this book after I finished reading The 6th Day, which Jt wrote with Catherine Coulter, one of my favorite mystery writers. When I began Lie to Me, I did not know what to expect, but night after night, after working as a reading specialist all day, I found it hard to put the book down. Finally, when I was a third of the way from the end, I was up until I finished it. It just got better and better. The characters where believable, but the twist and turns just kept me reading. I’ve read thousands of book in my life, mystery being one of my favorite genres, but I have to say, I look forward to reading more of JT’s books. Great fun. Thank you.

Excellent. Great read, couldn’t put it down. Well developed characters, and keeps you guessing all the way till the end!

Disappointing. I found the plot and dialogue to be pretty elementary and predictable. Kind of like a bad soap opera.

Okay.... This book started off well. It was suspenseful at the beginning but eventually got repetitive and predictable. It was a little too similar to Gone Girl yet not nearly as good. Don't want to give any spoilers but the ending was too easy...
