What a pity.... A perfectly enjoyable franchise ruined by the author’s infantile political correctness. If it had been apparent in the free sample I could have saved myself the 15 bucks, but alas. Oh well, fool me once ...
Last Tourist. Had a tremendous amount of trouble with this novel. It took me forever to read, the plot, for me at least, was confusing, had trouble keeping track of who was who, and I could go on and on. Of the Steinhauer books I’ve read this was clearly the worst. Throw in some thinly disguised shots the the 45th US president and all I can say is I’m glad I’m done with this book. Probably should have walked away from it weeks ago. Can’t recommend it.
