Invisible Book Summary

Read the #1 New York Times bestselling thriller Invisible, then continue the series with Unsolved.
Everyone thinks Emmy Dockery is crazy. Obsessed with finding the link between hundreds of unsolved cases, Emmy has taken leave from her job as an FBI researcher. Now all she has are the newspaper clippings that wallpaper her bedroom, and her recurring nightmares of an all-consuming fire.

Not even Emmy's ex-boyfriend, field agent Harrison "Books" Bookman, will believe her that hundreds of kidnappings, rapes, and murders are all connected. That is, until Emmy finds a piece of evidence he can't afford to ignore. More murders are reported by the day--and they're all inexplicable. No motives, no murder weapons, no suspects. Could one person really be responsible for these unthinkable crimes?

INVISIBLE is James Patterson's scariest, most chilling thriller yet.

Invisible - James Patterson & David Ellis Book Reviews

  • Invisible (Margiepy)

Great suspense but obnoxious heroine. Got to the point of dislike for her. Too much of her thoughts and first person.
  • Incredible (Jason Sanner)

I have read hundreds of books. Maybe thousands but I’ve never read a book so fast. Finished this in about 6 hours. I just couldn’t put it down. Just incredible. I still have chills.

  • Absolutely Loved It! (NashMash12)

Loved this book! Was pretty bloody at times, but the ending was perfect. I didn't see that coming at all!

  • Liked it a lot! (Wphb)

I'm a big fan of all the books by Mr. Patterson and his cowriters. Try to buy them as soon as they come out. Keep it up - I hate when I run out of books.

Invisible - James Patterson & David Ellis Book Reviews

  • Invisible (I hate pumpkin)

    Hard to put down.
  • No Longer a Fan (Kim637801)

This book reads like the sloppy draft of a novice taking a creative writing class. Wow. $15 down the drain. The plot is easily predictable from the get go. I finished the book only because I paid the money.
