Wow, excellent!. OMG, so good it has all the things; Blackwood characters, the OG’s, new/old, and ones from the cross-over series Bladwin Shores. Elise is a magnificent writer; her character development, the storylines, and the choice of locations never disappoint! All I can say is click buy and experience it for yourself!

An engaging, light-hearted, and delightful Blackwood adventure!. Emmy and her team are part of a mainly female cast of characters for this new episode of the Blackwood Security Saga. Once again, Ms. Noble has conceived an original plot and gives a unique atmosphere to her latest book. Emmy, Sky, and Hallie are in Scotland on a mission to solve a cold case of child disappearance. The team has a manageable workload, so the assignment is nearly a quasi-vacation. Things abruptly change when they are requested to check on a damsel in distress. From that moment on, an engaging, light-hearted, intriguing plot takes the reader on a scenic tour of Edinburgh and its surroundings. Emmy has the leading role in the story. It is mesmerizing to see how her personality evolves throughout the books in the series. She is older and way more experienced than in the first episodes, yet she keeps her irresistible mischief, brilliant wit, and innate generosity that make her character unique. A Scottish construction crew with, of course, military experience contributes to the lively atmosphere of the story. Black, Nick, and Raphael join the ladies for the grand finale and a brilliant twist that is hard to guess. Ms. Noble's signature writing style makes the narration a pleasure to read. I couldn't put down the book, a great companion for a lazy Spring long weekend.

Chimera. I highly recommend this book. Every book by Elise Noble is engaging, entertaining, and leaves you wanting to read more about these characters. Chimera was no different: very well written, humor, adventure, mystery, it had it all. I was so excited to see Emmy again, see more of Sky and the other characters I love. I just can’t wait for the next book already!

Chimera. Emmy’s back with our new friend Sky and they are off on a hunt. I absolutely love these two. What can go wrong when hunting for a monster. Well lots of things apparently but have no fear Blackwood is on the case, and why not put a wager on it. Lots of fun and excitement in the highlands with Emmy, Sky and the Blackwood gang. Loved this read, only problem is that it was too short. I definitely wanted the story to keep going. Funny, Witty, and Hilarious are just a few reasons why I loved Chimera. Highly recommend. Can’t wait for the next release from Elise Noble.

Lighthearted mystery. It was great to hear from return characters as well as seeing new additions. This book is slightly less harrowing than some in the series but it’s light hearted and sure to make you giggle. If you are a fan of books that cross genres I think you’ll like Elise’s style. She manages to blend mystery, romance, humor and even brings about some serious topics in the world today to light. This book was provided in exchange for fair review.

Kickass assassins, mystery and humor!. Chimera by Elise Noble I cannot say this enough, I adore Emerson Black and the whole Blackwood Security Team. Elise has built a family of characters that you can’t help but become attached to. The unsolved case of Mila Carmody has Emmy and co traveling to Scotland following a lead and while there Emmy is asked to do a favour for a friend. This is another brilliant book with a mystery that needs solving and Emmy and her kickass attitude tackle the problem head on. If you like kickass assassins, mystery and humor then you need to delve into the Blackwood Security series, you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic!. Emmy, Sky and Hallie head to Scotland to try to finally solve the Mila Carmidy mystery, but get a side-project to help a friend of a friend. That leads to the mystery of the Beast of Glendoon, chimeras and rats (don’t forget the turkeys!). Lots of fun and a fantastic read. I highly recommend it!
