Amazing and captivating!. I started reading this series the other day because the description looked intriguing. Needless to say I was not disappointed. As you follow Laya's story as she discovers who she is you really feel connected to the struggles and the triumphs in the books; not to mention falling in love with Quin. The books are well written and an absolute pleasure to read.

Captivating. This book was amazing... I just didn't want it to end.

Amazing page turner. This is the book you can't put down and when you reach the end you look for the next book immediately. A must read in my opinion. Update now that the short stories of Quin have come out I'm rereading the whole series again and I'm just as enthralled as the last time! The characters are well written and deep and Quin is the man we've all dreamed about !

Good idea - just never developed. The story was a good idea, the writer wrote well......but this story just never delivered. Too much love story/lovey dialogue/love struck/love. The witches and warlocks storyline could have gone so much better. Too bad it didn't. I skipped through most of the book before I finally just couldn't take it anymore.

Impassioned. This book bores me by the repeated dialogues of unending love. I skimmed over the details of the main characters decreeing their love... once again, and I searched for the tidbits of interaction with the most interesting character, Argo. I'm ready for him to incinerate the two! You would think by the end of book 2, Layla would have figured out that she has the power to defeat Argo...IF she practiced, but no...just drivel and gushing...ugh!

Wow. Awesome book and fantastic writing. This book had me laughing and crying. I WILL be reading all 6 from the series. Accidental joy. I tripped over this little series thinking it was something else. Soon however, I found myself joyfully joining Layla on her quest to find her family. I cried with her heart ache and loved Quinn right along side her. This book is easily puts you under it's spell and transports you along it's journeys 'till your living along side the characters. Even better :). I loved this book even more then the first as it delved more into the feelings between Quinn and Layla. I enjoyed the steamy scenes and the way the author has shown their feelings from both points of view. Excellent writing once again and I'm off to read the next one :)
