No surprise, another great JD Nixon read!!!. Never read anything by her I didn't love, & this is no exception...... From the very 1st page, to the last, you will be hooked.... Characters you will love, and some you will hate.... There are enough twist & turns to keep you from knowing what happens next.... The last page will have you hoping she will write another in the series, because there still seems to be more story to be told!!

J.D. Nixon books. This is one of the best authors out there and this one is one of the best books yet! It has made me cry, laugh out loud, get really angry and then all warm and fuzzy again! If you're looking for a book that has everything, look no further!

another awesome installment. Really love the series, though it is stressful reading. I have high hopes for the closer book #5 as each book in this series has been better than the one before it. This author is a truly talented storyteller.

Captivating. Love the little town series. Yet another thrilling read. Can't wait for the next instalment

So invested in Tess and Finn. I always feeling like I'm embarking on a journey reading a JD Nixon novel, at the beginning I'm open to a world of excitement and mystery and can't wait to dive amongst the pages, my lust for reading setting a speedy pace of discovery! As the pages turn I feel battered and torn almost like I'm sitting in the Patrol car with Tess and living her emotion filled drama almost dreading but still compelled to delve further! When it comes to the end I'm filled with a deep sadness a feeling of loss that creeps over me knowing I have to leave behind old friends and wait patiently to reunite with them one day in the future! I'm sure I'm going to grieve the loss of my fantasy friends at the end of book 5 and I'm championing for Tess to have her happy ever after with The Sarge right by her side

Love the book and series.. Fantastic and I want more!

Another excellent book from JD Nixon. I loved this book. JD is a great writer and I highly recommend all of her books. I would suggest before reading this one that you read the others in the series, just so you know the background of the characters etc. I was totally enthralled through the entire book, as we faced drama, comedy and special characters that we fans all love. Will be waiting for the next one eagerly. Great job JD.

Great character development. JD Nixon continues to give us a story filled with quirky, colourful individuals mixed with nasty foul evil ones. Thank you for giving us a few with values. Parts of this book are heartbreaking, might even make you cry. Tessie matures more in this book. I would like for her to identify that she participated in the obsessive compulsive sickness that historically exists between the Fuller-Bycraft clans. It's time to let her break the pattern and see some joy in her life.

Finally!. I enjoyed the first three books in the series and have eagerly waited for the fourth book. I read it quickly (despite some odd formatting of the text on my iPad!) and liked the book. There was some interesting character development in this book. The mystery storyline felt a bit thin, but the rest of the book was engaging. The book sets the stage for the final books in the series. If you enjoyed the first books in the series, you won't be disappointed.
