My first Reacher novel. As the quote on the cover states, it is compulsively readable. I like his use of chapters. The story is good but as another review states, the ending is abrupt but that may be his style. I wanted a little more interaction with the ending but It was still enjoyable and I plan on reading more Reacher books.

Worth Dying For. This one was a quick read of classic vigilante justice. Reacher enlisted the help of past “victims” mete out the punishment.

Great Storytelling. The definition of a can’t put it down novel. Fast paced, pithy language and a tight plot all extremely well thought out and detailed. The location settings are as real as they can be, even if you’ve never been to that part of the Country. No wonder the Reacher series of books is so popular.

Child is a master at telling a story. Love these Reacher books. Good to have a really bad tough guy on the side of good.

Worth Dying For. Good read - book flows quickly through the chapters; and it's well written.

Juxtaposition of the evil in the book and the Nebraska farmland. This book is particularly striking when one juxtaposes the extreme evil of the crimes with the (apparent) innocence of a rural, farmland setting. Another novel twist is the control of a farming community through ownership of the transport that brings goods to market. All in all, a terrific Reacher adventure.

Hooked. This was the first one of the series that I read, and I love I loved it!!! Can't wait for the next one.

Worth dying for. This is one of the author's best thrillers yet. It is concise,fast packed,and with the just the right touch of danger. I would reccomend this book to anyone.

Worth Dying For. Lee Child. Jack Reacher as usual is hitchhiking, in Nebraska. He finds a room at a local hotel and then wanders into the bar for a hot cup of coffee. Sitting at the bar is the local doctor, drunk as usual. The phone rings and the bartender picks up. A local woman the wife of Seth Duncan has a nosebleed that won’t stop bleeding . Reacher persuades him to go. Her husband Seth has beaten her, the woman finally confesses to Reacher who tracks him down to a local restaurant and breaks his nose. What then ensues is the Duncan clan has now declared war on Reacher. Non stop action on every page!! My highest recommendation!! Enjoyed immensely !!

I LOVE Jack Reacher!. This is the best one of the series! And while you can see what's around the corner, the ending is still extremely satisfying--even if it does end in abrupt, Lee Child fashion! Definitely worth the read!

Worth Dying For. I have read just about all of Lee Child's books and this one was one of the best. A lot of butt kicking and justice dispensed. A very good read.

Reacher defined tough.. I admire Reacher for his intuition and ability to finish it! What a character. The series draws you in completely, leaving you wanting the next adventure.

Worth Dying For. Great read.... Reacher is "Superman" as he again exterminates all who come in his path. Tough to put this one down and read it in just a few days. Would make a good movie, but Tom Cruise is not the physical specimen that is the 6' 5", 250lb Reacher in the books.

Reacher. Read it when it first came out and now again to relive the Reacher nuances. Lee Child’s writes a compelling story tightly woven and not to be missed.

Worth Dying For. Smart. Well paced and satisfying. Reacher delivers the justice we all wish we could. The passage of time on Child's main character is both realistic and lovingly rendered. I will rue the day Reacher isn't the fastest on the draw, but Child will have the stones to tell the story. If this is your first foray into Reacher-land, you are to be envied.

Great read. Lee Child is a good writer and his stories always seem to keep me engaged in the story and has characters I can relate to. I’ve found all the Reacher novels at our local thrift store besides the last 6 which I’ve picked up at my local Library. Very entertaining

Haven’t read a bad. Reacher book so far. This is in the top 5 and a great book for readers new to the series. (I read the fight sequences a few times). Even if you are a non vigilante, non fight scene aficionado you’ll appreciate Jack and Lee Child the brilliant mind behind the books.

A great read. Way better than 61 hours. I got so bored reading about the snow I couldn't even finish. Child has some of that in this book but overall a great book. I'd recommend it

Great read. For me, this was my first Reacher novel, and I loved it. Flows nice, makes you want to keep reading. Reminiscent of Without Remorse (Clancy). Would highly recommend this one

Intriguing Story. It kept you in suspense throughout the book. Unfortunately there are places like that under the thumb of some dominate family.

Reacher in the middle of nowhere. Per usual, this is Child doing a Reacher novel. I do not need to hear these long descriptions. Just tell me the story. Do not waste pages on what happens on each side of the Basement Door. Keep the story moving please. Did not guess what they were “shipping” and I should have. On to the next one.

Typical Reacher. As ever, Lee Child never ceases to amaze. Complex plot and continuous action abound.
